| Nene <3 We got to know more about Narumi's objectives, she's working hard to achieve what he wants, and I'm sure that Nene and the others will be there to help her. Momiji and Aoba playing the game was so much fun, Aoba's ideas with the bear tribe were spooky, behind her cuteness there is some twisted personality hehe. Looks like Kou is planning something, it will be sad if she leaves q_q. Only one episode left, I don't want New Game to end! |

| Damn that last scene is so strong yet sad at the same time... Though the animation of Rin there is pretty detailed that You can actually felt how Rin's feeling at that moment. Also It's kind of nice that Naru and Nene finally can cooperate there... Still not much Hifumin tho'. and I'm kind of surprised when the clumsy nurse back in Season 1 came back as a Ramen shop waitress lol. Next Episode probably will be more Drama, but I think I'll be fine with it if It actually happen. though probably It'll be full of sad moments. ;-; |

| Meh, despite the backstory I still don't think it redeems Narumi's character much. If anything, it just deepens her inferiority complex, chip on a shoulder and all that. The backstory doesn't change the fact that her first thought isn't 'oh she's just much better than me despite being less serious', but jump straight to thinking it's nepotism. Her backstory also still doesn't change the fact that she's the one constantly trying to start office drama. She's kind of like that dude from Shirobako, tragic background or not, he's still being a massive dick. Good on Sakura for being the bigger person, though. Oh, and Umiko being sharp and seeing through Narumi. Still a pretty solid episode and a strong series on the whole so far and I would love to actually play that game they made. |

| What an episode! Even though we haven't reached the final episode yet, I'm breaking my tradition and scoring New Game!! a 9/10. The mini-arc of Nenechi and Narumi was outstanding. |
| It appears things are still a bit rough in the Programmers side of things, at least, they were. Nothing like learning someones backstory to make you like them more, and also nothing like seeing that person mess up after learning about their backstory to make you want to help them. And all it took to fix said mess ups is hard work and a couple dozen Red Bulls. Also Cannibal Bears. |

| Nice episode but it bothers me a little that Hifumi is having less and less screentime since the two new girls appeared. I would like to see how she would manage to improve her social skills more and more. neonie said: I loved all the Nene this episode. Also still not feeling sympathetic to Naru, even after hearing her story. Having a rough go of it is not an excuse to treat someone like shit. Especially if that someone is Nene, who is an angel to everyone. Nene is surely a ray of joy for all of us. And yes, everything would have been better if only Naru would have asked her how she entered Eagle Jump or why Umiko trust in her as an employee. I understand Naru a little bit more now but I still don't sympathize with her or Momo. |

| I can't believe the new season is almost over now too. That said this episode did a really good job of wrapping up Narumi and Nene and the programmers story. I had a feeling at the beginning Umiko was going to intervene in Narumi and Nene's tense work relationship. But the way it played was really nice and unexpected. If in the next episode Aoba and Momo can hit it off finally. I'll see the new cast members as worthy late additions. I really liked watching them play the test version of the game. Had honestly never considered that in production. There would be a point where you could just select different levels. Before the progression is nailed down. And I thought this meaningfully ended Aoba's big arc of the season. Of creating something from scratch and seeing everyone come together to help make it. I'm curious where they're going with Ko's departure. If Rin or Aoba will beg her to stay. If she will or if she'll leave. If they plan to do future installments. And if so will Ko continue to be a fixture if she leaves for a new company. I was thinking the cast was getting a bit too large to keep track of. But Ko leaving would be such a drastic change. You've definitely got my attention with that show. |

| Nenecchi pouting was so cute! While Narucchi is very fast in coding it doesn't mean the whole code is perfect and bugless...just Nenecchi is learning and making sure she doesn't mess-up. Narruchi is only protecting her image from Umiko! Nenecchi helping Narucchi was very great of her, this will build-up good relationships with both of them. Out of all the good thing happening on this episode there one that a bit of shocking...this is Rin finding-out about Kou...she's planning to leave?!? oh man! that's not good for everyone! especially for Aoba! she'll cry for sure! And Rin will be devastated! 5/5. |

| Ah, Aoba's dark heart... I dislike showing off, particularly at the expense of other aspects of a process. In that regard, Naru's performance was mildly off-putting. Her incentive, however, was a lot more commendable. At least it tore down the figurative wall between Naru and Nene. That and Nene's (un)surprisingly big heart. A bit of a cliffhanger for Rin, eh? So that's why Kou has been wearing such a curious expression for a while. |

| I'm glad Tsubame didn't act like that for no reason. At least we can now understand her more, though this should have happened sooner. KOU, YOU BETTER NOT LEAVE FOR REAL! I really hope she will think this through. She is my favorite character here, I would be sad :( And it would also kind of ruin any hope for a season 3, at least it wouldn't be as fun without her. Maybe she will only leave for a little while or something, so she can get more experience... Then she could come back in the first few episodes of season 3 if there ever will be one. |

| Sakura helping Narumi with the debugging like that shows she does not hold grudges, on top of that she helped her get hired. That's why she is one of my favorite character in the show, she is too bubbly to be hateful and her being renewed was a cherry on top. I see there is little tension between Aoba and Momiji and yagami is trying to close it, but it is cute rather than too much. But is Ko leaving? |

| The fact that Naru wasn't supported by her parents with her pursuing her dream was fucked up. Poor Naru. But that doesn't give her the right to say those horrible things to Nenecchi. Still mad about it. Why the fuck is Ko gonna leave Eagle Jump? What. |

| Looks like nothing will stop Kou from leaving the company and Rin knows it. That's sad! :( Fortunately, the rest of the cast had some nice interactions again and Naru and Nenecchi are friends now. Even if Kou leaves, everything should be fine because everyone has improved so much they're ready to face new projects without Kou's guidance. (Still will miss her, though.) Let's see what happens in the last episode. I'm going to miss this show. |

| Can I guess? It's either only temporary job elsewhere for limited time and she returns after a while (also meant for Aoba and Hifumin to stand on their own feet) or she just feels burnt out and need to learn from the others as she slowed to halt at current possition, not enjoying her job anymore. It happens I guess.. the more so at creative jobs. Back to the roots then, she should do what she knows best and if it's in other company then be it. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they'll end on a high note, and I wonder if their game is a success. |

| Umiko praising Narumi in front of Nene... Nene: *triggering intensifies* I thought I didn't like Nene last season, but I've gotten used to her...Narumi is worse. I guess they tried to establish a tragic backstory/sympathy for her this episode, but I still don't care. Though she kind of reminds me of Yamazaki from Welcome to the NHK, who was kind of a dick at times as well. Haha, Narumi got too cocky and screwed up the whole game. I still don't feel bad for her. They can't try to change her into a sympathetic character in the episode before the last. When they finally got the bugs resolved, it was almost like she was an entirely different person. Oh shit..Kou's leaving Eagle Jump? Nooooooo! What? Why? When? Where? Does this game have any dialogue other than 'beary bear'? It's almost like Raving Rabbids. |

| The Nenecchi/Narucchi moments were nice, finally they made up. I knew Yagami would leave when she acted suspicious last episode. Or maybe it's just a misunderstanding? Guess we'll soon know. Off to the last episode. |

| I'll never get tired of Nene's facial expressions. Aww, Mozuku played with Momo's hand. She's so adorable. <3 Aww, that hug. It's really nice to see how Nene and Narumi are getting along so much better now. Good job, girls! You both worked really hard. It was so hilarious when Umiko compared Naru and Sakura to a cat and a dog. Poor Rin. This was one of the saddest moments ever in anime. :( It's so heartbreaking to see her so shocked. |

| I love how Ahagon basically knows all of Narumi's shenanigans already and knows what to say to make her tick. And the same with Nenecchi of course. If there was any doubt that she knew, she rather literally let that cat out of the bag to Rin, what with characterizing Narumi as a cat. The Nenecchi/Narumi sequence overall though felt a little too rushed. |

| I really enjoyed this episode. I really wanted to like Naru when the two new girls joined, but it was certainly difficult with her attitude. This episode handled (the beginning of) Naru's redemption well, though. I see this story beat having Naru and Nene come together as being something of an allegory for Naru's character growth. Just as Naru and Nene pulled through resolving the bugs in Naru's work, the two are pulling through the strain on their relationship. I expect this to be the start of a lot of growth and maturation for both Naru and Nene, as well as the beginning of a strong character dynamic. |
