Damn that sack of shit Pax, he makes Rudeus look way better in comparison lmao. Well, Pax's pretty stupid, so I am sure things will work out fine.

New OP is a banger once again, that's like the 3rd new OP for this season. I already really like Aisha and bet, she already knows that Rudeus is her perverted brother, I feel she's too smart to be fooled. Eris was really adorable this episode too, how far we've come.

Ruijerd just casually saying "I haven't assaulted a castle in ages" was fucking hilarious lmao. Great episode and pretty lax and hilarious, since I don't really see Pax as a threat lmao. Really looking forward to the next episode.

I'm tired of seeing Rudeus get outsmarted/captured every single time he isn't dealing with the most stupid thugs. I can't believe man walked into the trap even though he RECOGNIZED THE GUARDS HE WAS RUNNING AWAY FROM. Not to mention he doesn't use his magic demon eye even when he is in a tense situation. Nor does he realize yet that incantation-less magic is such a rarity that the second he does it he gives away his identity!
For a 34 (plus more than 12 years old) this guy is really really stupid! Not to mention that this episode also ticked all the pedo boxes by having a little child (who is smart and grown up mentally, a common thinking trope of pedophiles) talk about panties!
As usual, the anime industry continues to disappoint.

I was also pretty disappointed with the anime when Rudeus was captured. It was pretty obvious that something was wrong with that situation and we know Rudeus isn't dumb.

We got to see Aisha and Lillia in this episode. Aisha's pretty smart for her age and, she's quite cute as well. Heh, she even knows the truth about Rudeus. Pax Shirone is a goddamn weirdo but, he doesn't seem too bright. Well, Rudeus is in a predicament now.

Ugh HOW the F did Aisha learn about that stuff???? She's 6 years old? And on top of that Lilia was doing everything she could to train Aisha to be a maid for Rudeus! A)she should have kept that box away from her and out of reach of a 6 year old regardless of whether it was for Rudeus or not that isn't something a six year old should see. And how did she get her to "surreptitiously" reveal it??? That doesn't make sense to me. Also I still an really irritated that after realizing those two were troops he just fought three hours earlier or the day before, and he evaded with someone they wanted to capture. He sees their face and then just GIVES his damn staff over. It's like they make him REALLY stupid just to get him captured again. And since Aisha didn't know any Blue Haired lady that could help her, he should have IMMEDIATELY known, or asked her again and verified that Roxy wasn't there to begin with. 🤦🏼🤦🏼

Personally never been a huge fan of the Shirone mini arch (one of the weakest in the series imho). I get Pax highlights what early Rudeus with unchecked power and no motivation for change could hypothetically become, but his introduction is mediocre at best and he's a joke of an actual threat, thankfully it's brief and will wrap up next episode. We get some key characters and Rudeus hypocrisy becomes more apparent to the viewer, but otherwise it's very meh arc. I do love when Rudeus calls Aisha missinformed when we the viewer know she is entirely correct in her thoughts. Also the images of the King Dragon Kingdom and then Shirone was gorgeous. The new song is my favorite but that might be recency bias.

Rudy was pretty dumb here. The situation was sketchy from the get-go, yet he had no back-up plan, and he didn't use his magic eye at the first sign of trouble? The people at the castle were literally holding his family captive, yet he decided to trust them when they mentioned Roxy.

what i took from this is: they wanted Rudeus to be an average character. but it contrasts with his talent on casting. Also, not even a really dumb person would fall for what he fell, so it contrasts too, with his nature. The whole character is inconsistent.

This guy is disgusting, i hope Rudeus will beat his ass in the next episode man, he's such a pig.

Also, Aisha at 6 y.o completely destroyed Rudeus ahaha
Oh and can't believe how easily he fell through that bait, he hears Roxy and his brain goes offline xD

This is pretty mediocre, at least not as boring as the Roxy episode. The pacing is slow and there is a lot of padding. Season 1 was way better, or should I say actually great.

This is such a hyper critical and relevent point and shows how much of a long game this novel/series is playing. If this anime gets a second season or if you ever read the light novels, come back to this statement you made and think about it. Remember, this whole season is just prologue and these things will be reviseted.

Ruijerd and Eris' disappointment in not assaulting the castle lol.

And just when you thought Rudy was bad, Pax the ugly bastard makes his appearance. My God what a guy, I just hope Lilia is okay.

It appears that everyone knew that Rudeus was being led into a trap except Rudeus himself. At last Rudeus was reunited with Aisha, even if she does not know it yet. Quite a spunky little girl; she looks a like a younger Eris rather than her stoic mother.

I wonder how a seventh prince appears to be in charge of the kingdom all of a sudden - or is he? That repulsive little man still called himself 'prince', not king; if he had taken out the king & queen he would have 100% called himself 'king', so I don't think he is the king - not nominally at least.

So I assume that he somehow got rid of the other six princes (his cousins and siblings), either by executing them or holding them prisoners. The current king / queen (who should be his uncle / aunt) might still be technically in charge but he is probably the Crown Prince now, the next in line to the throne.

Hence his broad authority in commanding the clearly reluctant royal guards into... kidnapping children as baits. Just like he blackmailed the royal guards with their families perhaps he did the same with the king and/or queen, holding their children prisoners to give him broad power. And all that .... just to get Roxy.

This is what happens when spoiled rotten people with no morals and/or pervert instincts are given excessive power. Rudeus is a pervert as well but he was never spoiled nor did he ever have more power than he could handle, in either of his lives. On the contrary he was tortured in his previous life and -perhaps- his current sexual perversions are a way to cope with his past demons.

In the first part Rudeus at one point crossed the line from mere pervert into sexual predator. Perverts look and drool from afar at best, or steal and sniff panties at worst - sexual predators also touch (without consent); and Rudeus did exactly that when he unpantied Eris while she was sleeping.

Does the Man-God want to teach Rudeus a lesson about who he might end up be like if his sexual perversions get out of control, does he want him to liberate the kingdom from that little hideous tyrant or both? We shall soon find out I guess..

Seriously, no joke. I really hate this kind of villain, the trope of "haha im evil im gonna rape the people you love in front of you *evil laugh* and im gonna kill you after i raped them all, HAHAHAHA" please fucking help me

That's just how many nobles were, particularly for that series with being power-hungry and desiring everything that they want without fail. Doesn't help that Roxy was constantly bragging about another guy who was a kid in front of him while he becomes obsessed with her during Pax's own training which she doesn't show as much passion for as compared to Rudeus' lessons. He grew up with a silver spoon and wasn't special in Roxy's eyes either and wasn't able to tame her despite having resources and power to do so. He does suck.

More like anime noble thing. I just.. hate it. This is like, the most cringiest villain i have ever seen.

What the f***? That Pax guy is a freaking degenerate! I am genuinely scared of that guy. And his plan is to lure in Roxy by trapping Rudeus, which he successfully did in this episode, to make Roxy become his (Pax) personal s** slave. What the hell man.

What do you mean forgot, the eye doesn't work unless he puts mana into it, up until he went inside that room he couldn't of known Roxy wasn't there, even when he fell he thought Roxy was somewhere in the castle and Pax was going to bring Roxy out to cuck him which he even said, the reason for this is because up till that point he thought Hitogami was talking about Roxy(but it was actually Lilia, although this could still be all part of the plan)and had little reason up to that point to not believe him since he was right on the last 3 occasions he gave advice.

I watched a bunch of episodes and just my luck the final one ends on a cliff-hanger! I would say the opening four episodes were not as strong as season one although it was still pretty solid. The second third of the show has shown a noticeable improvement although I did find the Roxy episode the weakest of the lot as it felt a little draggy. Still, despite that I can see it being relevant for the future plot of the series. I do wonder how Rudeus will get himself out of this pickle. This prince dude better not be in the same room once Eris's finds out!

@ Neesan-chan: You got to remember that seeing anything beyond a second or so in the future is exceedingly difficult for Rudeus to maintain and also his vision becomes really bad if he decides to project too far. On top of that he needs to be on alert to use it due to the use of mana and even then it will only give him a few seconds window to react at max. He can easily fall for traps like this if he is not careful.

It's very jarring having his pedophilia pointed out like this with such a casual atmosphere, but Aisha is correct about him. Much like the author does, perversion is used as a substitute for what it really is and though it makes more sense in-universe, I find my eyes popping out each time it addresses this severe issue with such a nonchalant tone. Alas, I should know better given its track record.

I hope to dear god I'm not supposed to contrast him with this creeper of a prince, as that's just an insulting minimization.

You are entirely meant to contrast.

Rudy may have unpleasant thoughts but he doesn't translate those into things that cause harm.

The show is reminding us that we should not be defined by our flaws but how we work to mitigate them.

If rudeus continuosly sees the future images, he will get headache. So he will obviously only channel mana into the eye when he needs to. Also even if he had started seeing the future the instant the carpet was pulled (which we haven't been told isn't the case) there was nothing he could do to break the fall as chanting takes time and he will need to concentrate and visualise for chantless magic. In the above case, we have to assume that rudeus has basically 0 reaction time.

The crux of the matter is rudeus was not on his guard. Though I believe he should have picked up on the fact that Lilia was not staying in the castle but 'detained' as per aisha. So he should have been on guard I believe. Especially after he saw those two guards in front of the door.

Ah yes the OG Rudy and Hitogami talking as per usual while Rudy in the isekai world is sleeping xD Oh another OP, this one is very calming and relaxing :3 I'm excited for the upcoming adventure for sure~!
I really love how Eris is very optimistic over new things, that's some trait of her that has been going well recently. I honestly hope that Lilia and Aisha isn't going to get tortured. Oo is that Aisha following Rudy :o? Oh yes she is! Also that is some muddy ability that Rudy has done :o and not gonna lie the ground going up ability looks really cool to look at. Nice pose Rudy instead of mentioning your actual name :v, really can't help with the narration about Lilia xD, Aisha seems very genius and I don't know how she can learn about panties and horny stuff at a young age, so more or less she's a cultured type daughter of Lilia.

Aisha and Rudy starring at each other really gets on my nerve OoO but the 3 of them: Rudy, Aisa and Eris be sleeping like some married couple :o. LMFAO I DIED LAUGHING WHEN PAUSING THE PART ON WHO WAS THAT GUY WHO'S SITTING ON THE KING'S CHAIR AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE PAX WOAH WHAT A TWIST while Lilia getting kidnapped like what's going on ;-; and woah I thought Rudy would be self-conscious about a very basic trap but I mean he doesn't have the ability to fly or double jump other than his staff and hand ability and hah Pax you want Roxy to be the one who's going to be fucking you everyday? I don't think so, she can literally burn you in 0.5 second :/, I'm glad Pax isn't going horny over Lilia though because he would be seriously fucked in the head.

So the Man God and Rudeus have another chat and he tells Rudy how to rescue both Lilia and his sister Aisha Greyrat.

Rudy, Eris, and Ruijerd arrive in Shirone and Rudy tells them about how Aisha and Lilia have been captured. Rudy goes out and finds Aisha. For some reason there are guards who take Aisha's letter that she wrote to her mother. Rudy rescues Aisha from the Shirone guards and takes her away.

As the Man God suggested, Rudy introduces himself with an alias, which was definitely the right move. The reason for that is Aisha knows Rudy to be a pervert given that before he was six he possessed the underwear that must've belonged to a 14 year old (Roxy likely). Unfortunately for Rudy he's going to have to work hard to get rid of that image that his sister has, which will be tough.

Rudy sent the letter out to Roxy, since that's the acquaintance he knows in the are. The Man God told him if he sent out a letter he would be able to rescue both Aisha and Lilia.

Ginger York escorts Rudy to the Shirone castle and unfortunately it was all a trap. Rudy is taken prisoner by Pax Shirone, the young man that Roxy was tutoring before she left. Pax intends to use Rudy as bait to bring Roxy back so he can rape her and impregnate her. Then Rudy brought up a valid point. HOW IS ROXY GOING TO GET WORD THAT RUDY IS CAPTURED, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THAT RUDY DIDN'T KNOW THAT LILIA WAS CAPTURED UNTIL JUST RECENTLY (BY THE MAN GOD). Pax had no intelligent response to that very valid question and left the conversation. Now, what will Rudeus do to get out of the King Class magic imprisonment and rescue Lilia? Only time will tell.

Great episode.

Man-god makes another appearance and he's got one more advise for Rudeus, he follows it and everything plays out like the god said and he ends up saving Aisha but getting himself kidnapped by the pig prince, we see Lilia is kidnapped by the pig as well.

Last part became disturbing real quick, I was surprised to see Rudy keep such a normal expression.

I wonder how he's gonna get outta this one.
