| A character like Kyouka is just what the anime needed...at first I thought she was gonna be the typical icy Kuudere character, but it just turns out that her ability was being remotely controlled by none other than Akutagawa. She's so sweet...and my oh my, do I see a possible ship with Atsushi x Kyouka bc that seems like it'd be adorable! Also no!! Dazai got caught!! I'm wondering how the ability worked on him though since he can usually nullify?? Does it have something to do with it being remotely controlled without the actual user using it?? I mean, there has to be some sort of limitation with no longer human since it's so OP. |

| D'awwwhhhh, he saved Kyouka C': how sweet. Hopefully she can join and be a loyal member of the crew now The thing I don't really like with this anime so far is its pacing and how some things aren't clear cut (the imouto with her big brother complex is dead, right...? after getting shot) |

This anime tried so hard to make you think that the characters are in actual danger but they're not because plot armor. the plot armor is STRONG AF, agreed ----- what exactly is the use of atsushi (or anyone in the detective agency for that matter) if they don't use their powers? they don't know any martial arts or anything apparently. atsushi suddenly understanding everything at the end was dumb af but when he saved the girl, that was pretty cool i must admit. he suddenly reminded me of another brave detective, endeavor morse. he possibly would have done the same (if he had superpowers ofc). funnily enough he did deal with a case that involed a tiger though, imagine that. |

| Seeing Kyouka character design is what made me interested in watching this series, since I ADORE Alice from Pandora Hearts and they share some visual similarities for sure. Happy she finally made her appearence, AND wasnt killed. Best episode so far, really came out of nowhere too. |

| From the looks to her voice, the doctor is sexy as hell. Props to Shimamura Yuu. But man, this is such a weird anime. I really like the characters, they are all very, uh, cool, I guess, to the lack of a better word that I'm failing to think of right now, and it makes me sad that I'm probably missing many references because I have never read any of the works of the original authors that the characters are named after (well, besides No Longer Human). Their interactions and the alternation between serious and funny moments is pretty well done in my opinion. I've seen people that said that they don't like the comedy, but oh well, I do. But that said, it feels like this show is on the verge on being great, but it's being held back by the weird pacing and the way the story goes. We just got out of a mini-arc that had a bomber, and now there is also another bomber. I mean, there's no inherent problem with that, but just a bit of variety would be nice... also, the Port Mafia are supposed to be the bad guys but I'm never afraid when one of them shows up, it always feels like the people from the Agency will win after suffering some scratches. Dazai is imprisioned there in the end, but does anyone think he is in real danger, even if Akutagawa is there with him? Of course not. I don't know, I just wished the stakes were higher so that we could genuinely be more engaged in the story and care more about the characters. But maybe it's too early and the anime will become more like this later on. I also wouldn't mind if the anime went more in the comedy route and became a monster of the week type where the main characters solve different crimes that aren't really connected to one another, with fights for them to show their powers and stuff. As it is right now, it feels that the anime is kind of halfway between these two points, which is a bit frustrating to me because I just know that if it committed to one of these sides, I would love it a lot more. |

| It's so strange. I heard about this anime and the only character that was every really talked about was Dazai (and sometimes Ranpo). Atsushi did something very noble at the end of this episode even if she was ordered to work against their organization. Each episode I watch I just fall more and more in love with Atsushi's character. This is one of the few animes I can probably say the MC my favorite character. |

Akiko is such a badass character .I feel bad for that girl though. Thought she was willingly doing this. Also I don't know what'h happening, but I just can't get hyped anymore. That ending scene with Dazai was 10/10 but I just didn't feel the need to get hyped. |

| After a really sluggish, corny first bunch of episodes, this was the first episode I thought was decent in this first season. Didn't enjoy Motojiro's corny persona here but the rest of the episode was pretty solid, Yosano's eccentric but looked cool and was fun to watch alongside Atsushi, especially because the two could not be any more different from each other. And of course, him meeting Kyouka and wanting to protect her realizing she was forced into this and willing to use his abilities to save her as he jumped out the train to protect her. Kyouka was a solid character for me when I first saw this 5 years ago and yeah, definitely one of the few characters here for the time being that I do like in this really forced, flat, unfunny cast for the most part. Less Dazai and Kunikida in the episode is better for me in this season at least. |

| Never mind what I said in the last episode. Looks like Atsushi is finally contributing to the agency in some capacity now. No idea if this will set a precedent or not, but it's something. |

| Such a great episode! The doctor's strength and abilities are on point, looove it. I am so happy Atsushi saved Kyouka, she seems like a great chara to be included in the agency. |
