For me it's FLCL because its short, amazing, and it's bizarre enough to always see new stuff- I've got 5 re-watches on my list, but there's been more.

Also Cromartie High, and Girls Last Tour I've got down as 4 re-watches- not neccessarily my absolute favourite shows, but they're short, light, and don't require too much attention. (Also Akira, which I probably re-watched a half-dozen times before I even opened an account on MAL)

Films like ghost in the shell and howl's moving castle because they're my favorites and they're short.
For TV series it's sword art online and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood because they were the pinnacle of animation for teenage theo.

Haikyuu!! Season 3, watched it about 16 times.
Best Haikyuu season, with Shiratorizawa being my favorite team in the whole series and coach Tanji Washijo being the best sports anime antagonist ever.
There is really no reason why I shouldn’t watch it 100 more times
(PS I will)

Probably Death Note, which I have rewatched 3 times (So that's 4 including the first time). I just get entertained every time Kira loses to L, and L getting closer to the culprit, even if I already know about what's to happen.

For the movie, Kimi No Na Wa, but only because I came to watch with my friend the second time, and my sibling the third time.

Serial Experiments Lain - I always see something different in it, and I love the atmosphere. Not sure how many times I've watched it, but it's probably the only programme I've seen more than 3 times. The only thing I'd change about it is that snide American voice that introduces each episode...

I really wanted to like FLCL, but I don't quite get it somehow (although I do like some things about it). I saw it when I was a teenager and I liked it more then, but couldn't really get into it when I saw it again the other month. Maybe it'll grow on me again

I don't rewatch much these days. Paradoxically I used to rewatch the most when I was still new to anime. It's been many years since, so I don't remember exactly what shows I rewatched and how many times, but I'm sure I rewatched Zero no Tsukaima like 4 or 5 times at the time, so that may very well hold the record. Needless to say I probably wouldn't do that today. If I only counted the shows I can remember clearly, so rewatches from the last few years, then I guess Monogatari holds the record at 1 rewatch as it was the longest anime I rewatched and I didn't rewatch anything more than once for many years now. As for why, well, it's just so good. I'm sure I will rewatch it again at some point as I enjoyed it even more on second watch.

Bakemonogatari (and in general the monogatari series until 2nd season). I've seen bakemonogatari around 10~12, because i've showed the series to friends of mine and guide them so they can appreciate the many layers/details the series has. Every time i watch it, i find new details and its probably the only show i have been able to rewatch it that many times without growing tired. I would love to be able to rewatch one piece, but too many episodes lmao.

Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Rewatched three times and Shippuden just gets better with each time. (I skip the spoilers that not add anything interesting to the story. About 250 eps ahah)

I've rewatched Madoka maybe around 10-15 times total? Counting both the movie trilogy and the OG series. I tend to show this series to a lot of friends, so I always end up rewatching it with them. It's been my 1# favorite since 2012, so it's nice being able to go back to it over the years.

hmmm I thought it was Inga Nikki but turns out it is Orenchi no Furo Jijou
I believe it's been 6-8 times now... as for why...? It was one of the first comedy* anime I watched so I just thought it was EXTREMLEY funny, and so it still has a special place in my heart. I still believe it to be one of, if not THE, funniest anime I have watched (also this is not just me trying to get you to watch it, the humor is definitely not for everyone) so I feel like that's why every now and then, I go back and watch it again. ALSO cuz it's so SHORT! I watched the entire series for the first time in 52 minutes!

My most rewatched anime is the OVA of Oregairu's second season. I think I rewatched it 6 times. Because it's really short and currently the best OVA I've wacthed.

Probably, Angel Beats or Lucky Star. Think both were one of the first 10 or so shows that I watched. Not sure how many times I've seen them now. But I usually go and re-watch shows during bad seasons since there is nothing new and interesting to watch.

Aside form movies (cuz Your Name would be an automatic winner) it's Steins;Gate for me, I think. My favorite anime ever, and I've shown it to several different friends. Watched it all the way through about 3 times, and watched up to about the halfway point another few times.
Is Blue Box my favorite manga? Not yet...Yes. Yes it is.

Right now it is the first 3 seasons of High School DxD. I have rewatched all of them about 16 times. Why did I do it? Well, I came for the boob but stayed for the story. The dub script was funny and the dub was great. I probably wouldn't have rewatched it 16 times if it wasn't for the good dub (The sub was just bad compared to dub and way less funny) and I guess being a horny teen was a part of it

The Moomins due the reason it's so popular in Finland. I remember when I was a child and pretty much all the kids were crazy about it.

In my adulthood I have rewatched Digimon Tamers, Death Note and Natsume couple of times. I just like those series so much and they give me so many different emotions.

I'm on my third time of viewing The Rising of the Shield Hero

Plainly, if something can evoke strong emotions it's doing it's job, and every time I get angry, I feel warm and the feel good parts and I cry at the part when it wants you to cry, it does everything so well
I absolutely love this anime, it's amazing, and Naofumi is such a real character, like, anyone would react the same way he did in his situation

Plus I have a friend who wants to watch it with me down the line, so there's a guarantee for a 4th time rewatch which will be amazing, and I'll re-watch it again for S2, provided when I watch it with my friend it's not right before, and I know me, I'll rewatch it again after S2 comes out, same with S3, and just, I love it, it's amazing, fight me

My most has got to be Hatsune Miku: Hiyashite Narasou Okashi no Ii Oto at 50 times (I actually didn't count, but it's 30 seconds long and I put it on repeat for about half an hour while I wrote my review for it).

In terms of anime not so insanely short my most is Spirited Away which I watched a total of 6 times, 3 as a kid and 3 as an adult. As a kid it's normal to rewatch stuff, so that's just par for the course (3 is actually fairly low compared to some of my other childhood rewatches of movies). As for the ones as an adult, one was for the AWC which had a challenge of rewatching an anime, preferably one you saw a long time ago, and the other two were with my cousin because he loves the movie.

If that's unsatisfactory because they were basically all involuntary, Yama no Susume's first season I rewatched 3 times just because I enjoy it and it's only 40 minutes long.

I rewatched Evangelion twice. I rewatched it with my mom, then I rewatched it with my mom and dad.

I'm going to rewatch it a third time in Japanese. (I saw it English dubbed all other times.)

I have many other anime that I need to rewatch to analyze the characters. I stupidly marked them as Plan to Watch as if I've never seen them because I was scared of using MAL's rewatching function.

So I need to mark them as completed again, and then I'll actually use the rewatching function.

Ah ah I see at which HEIGHT you put this anime.

For me, I often watch show a second time or even a third time. But Nisekoi must have been at 4 or 5 watches. It's a romcom my favorite genre, one of the best with great rewatch value, old enough in my watch list. You never tire of it.
