(This is my first review, I avoid making reviews because my English is not so good, so I can not express myself very well, so do not take me too seriously here.)
Well, talking about the MV, was wonderful, the animation is beautiful, along with the effects and scenes well flowed, plus a great song to stay perfect. I am very anxious to watch, the staff is in harmony and I trust with eyes closed in the direction,The characters seem to be quite charismatic Which is an essential thing for fun when watching a movie, can expect a great film!
First of all lets talk about the visuals, it looks pretty. Its well animated as expected from Shaft, with stunning backgrounds and bright colours. For music, the duet did an ok job.
Now the problem is the characters designs, which are reminiscent of the Monogatari franchise, suggesting that Shaft is trying to play it safe. The video doesn't tell us much about the story but we clearly see that it's a romance with some sort of contrived magical object.
All in all i wouldn't expect much from this new movie, especially because of previous movies failures with the pretty colours being the only redeemable quality.
I'll save you some time if you really want to, just watch the music video, but after watching the music video, don't let it persuade you into watching the movie, I made that mistake, and I can almost guarantee you'll be disappointed. Also a music video is a great way to advertise a movie or show, I mean it persuaded me.
The music video has stunning visuals, the song is beautiful and the 2 artists have such great synergy.
I've watched the music video over and over again and I just can't get enough of it.
Story: 8 Short and simple but get's the message out, especially for
such a short video
Art: 9 Visuals are stunning but the character design is the same as the monogatari series, c'mon shaft make some new characters they're literally clones
Sound: 10 the music is amazing
Character: 8 We only saw them vaguely you but you could see they had a strong bond with one another
Enjoyment: 10 Simply can't get enough of this 5 minute music video
This whole music video is great! do you want to know why? It's because it's better than the whole movie it's in!
The music video uses all of the best visuals (except for the bike riding scene) to fully engross us into the world of mediocre characters and dull story beats, but the best part, this video hints at something deeper and more clever than most of the Uchiage Hanabi movie.
This video really gets across a nice and pleasant looking film in a short time and with a beautiful song in the background. Most of the movie's soundtrack was mostly mediocre, so it's good to
see the best song in the film getting a really nice spotlight with this mostly average music video.
