Fine. Anatomy and proportions checked out. No nature showcases to note. I like Tanigawa Nico's style.

Panel Progression: 6/10
Backgrounds and panels populated nicely; nothing felt too blank, lacking, or empty for the panel visuals. Flow was fine, didn't feel like there was a lot missing in between the 4-koma panels. Jokes could sometimes be witty and make sense, other times they wouldn't make sense unless you had a decent background in literary works.

Characters: 5/10
Their dynamics could be interesting at times and the conversations they would hold would sometimes be engaging. Overall, however, they didn't really feel too great most read more

The art was fine. The anatomy and proportions checked out. There was maybe one or two impact shots, the most memorable one was Misuzu's service shot towards the end of the manga which was nice to see but wasn't too great art-wise. No specific focus on or showcases of nature, panoramics, or picture-esq scenes. Gag reactions or comedy facial expressions were interesting, but I didn't really get a laugh out of most of them. Overall, the art was fine for a 4-koma and I didn't really see or remember any parts that looked good or worth noting.

Preliminary
I read the last chapter 6/1/19. I included both of the 6.5 and 9.5 chapters since those were full-length. I'll remove this part when the page gets updated. This is just a reminder for myself.

The anatomy and proportions checked out. It was interesting to see the differences in art style between the two illustrators of the main series and this spin-off. There were a couple nature showcases in this manga that looked alright, but it wasn't really focused on in light of there also not being too many panoramics or expansive shots. Interior details were about average too, read more

Art: 8/10
The anatomy and proportions checked out and no noticeable changes in these two points were made between the main series and this movie. There weren't any special panoramics or expanses that were showcased. There were a few environmental and nature elements in this movie but they weren't particularly focused on or given their own scenes for us to admire any sort of artistic skill in that regards. The few instances where there was living foliage and nature that we got looked pretty nice but not something I'd praise; much of what was actually relevant was city-scapes and the read more

I watched the BD releases. The art retained mostly the same quality from the first season character-wise but I liked this second season for its huge improvements towards the mediocre parts I found in the first season. The character art looked nice and was about the same as the previous season, but this second season did a great job in interiors, exteriors, nature, and expanse showcases. What the first season was missing in my opinion was world building. Sure the first season showed what it looked like outside of the beginner city, but it was all just really read more

Overall, the same good art quality from the second season. Anatomy and proportions looked appealing. Subtle service shots were appreciated (like when Aqua was looking through one of the desks). Direct service shots looked appealing. Like the later half of the first season and the entirety of the second season, breast anatomy and physics were paid special attention to in this special episode more so than what I'd see in an ecchi-dedicated show which is a nice touch. Interiors were nicely detailed and looked fine. Exteriors looked fine too. However, the quality of nature showcase such as trees, read more

Average.

Animation: 6/10
Nice-looking, didn't see painful low-frames/stuttering that's common in low-budget animation. Effort was put into this MV.

Visual Progression: 7/10
Visual progression was great and it tied into the lyrics which I also found great. Overall, the story conveyed in this song was nice. I found it a nice touch when the entirety of the scrapbook's pictures was shown in expanse to slamdunk the idea of a past in its entirety. I personally felt it's a song about leaving childhood behind.

Conclusion: N/A

Music: 7/10

I watched the BD release version. Anatomy and proportions checked out but I felt that the anatomy for Kazuma's body during the bath scene was really meh. There were one or two parts where the anatomy looked a bit off such as oddly shaped hands or somewhat misaligned facial proportions. Environmental and nature showcases were either not focused on or just underwhelming such as the plains, the landscape surrounding the city, or the snow area, to name a few. Interiors were nicely populated but the details were about average. Framing and area selection of certain scenes left much read more

Not as nice as the manga. Pretty standard anime art quality. Cgi elements were okay. Overall, not exactly crisp and clean, but was good enough for the most part. For how much nature and greenery is present during the escape arc, the nature quality was about average. Character quality was one point. Anatomy and proportions were fine. Facial expressions translated well from the manga, especially Ray's during the "I'm a human being" part.

Animation: 6/10
Didn't include some of the great dynamic impact shots in the manga which was a letdown; one part was the training tag shot. Animation read more

Anatomy and proportions had multiple instances of being off or odd-looking. A few examples were chapter 1 when the first victim is kicking the door on page ~20, page ~29 where she looks like she just gained at least 15 pounds worth of upper-body muscle, chapter 8 page ~19 (80), or chapter 8 page ~43. There were some really odd design decisions too. Why were the padlocks on their neck-collars paper thin? Seriously look at them and how thin they were. Furthermore, the chains attached to those padlocks looked like they could be snapped with one wrong fall read more
