This was a well-done, fantastic romance.

Art was very good; it was clean, crisp, and had a recognizable style.

Plot and development were excellent. It didn't feel like it dragged on too much. The side characters didn't hog entire arcs and were appropriately given a respectable amount of spotlight, development to support the main duo, and character to keep them somewhat interesting to not be forgettable the next time you happen to see them. The main duo's individual developments were acceptable. Rather than change each other drastically, the development instead focused on them covering for each other's shortcomings like forgetfulness or timidness to progress their relationship ... further - they are still as forgetful and they are as still timid as they were in the beginning, but they make up for each other. The plot and development ticked off all the things I like and didn't tick off all the things I don't like.

The conclusion was very good. The final 10 or so chapters were just part of the conclusion in my opinion - Reminiscence, reflection, romance, plans for the future off the pages, and most importantly hope. Everything I want to see in a romance I saw in the leadup to the last chapter. I got a good serving size amount of what I wanted to see too. The leadup and conclusion of this romance manga were excellent.

This is a good example of an innocent and pure-love romance manga that ticks all the boxes that I expect to see in a romance. Highly recommended.

I liked it. Solid one-shot.

Art was good. Everything looked nice and clean.

Plot was appreciated; there aren't a lot of examples of the tall girl x short boy setup. My favorite example is Lovely Complex. Development and pacing were good. It spent appropriate amounts of time on each part of the story and worldbuilding. Side characters were given like two or three panels at most but we were given just enough about them to add a lot to the main characters and flesh them and their world out significantly.

Good conclusion.

Recommended. Short, simple and to-the-point, and most importantly a good sendoff.

This had potential and I liked it at first.

Art was fine. Characters looked fine but the battle and action scenes were rough at times. Key action panels didn't really pop and battle sequences felt more like explanations rather than battles.

Plot and development started off very strong in my opinion at the start. The setup along with the initial character introductions and dynamics between the two main characters were interesting and showed promise for unique deviation from similar stories like Death March or Shield Hero. However, towards the end of the manga the narrative got a bit boring and dragged on; newly introduced characters weren't ... really fleshed out, battles weren't really battles and were more like excuses to dump annoyingly long explanations on how the setting's world works, and focus was shifted away from the interesting main duo and instead towards characters that I don't really care about.

The conclusion was not good because there was no conclusion. The manga was abruptly canned when the last chapter, at the time of writing this review, introduced a cliffhanger. I have no hope for a continuation as the author's social media has supposedly been silent for months so the web novel is MIA, the publisher for the light novel went under, and the manga was canned at a point where the story was caught up to the other source materials.

I really had hopes for this as I very much enjoyed the initial setup for this manga. I personally believe it had a lot of promise as the main duo was interesting with a good trajectory for character development. However, poor execution of world building and introducing arcs that focused too much on things other than the main duo really hurt my final impression of this manga. It's a shame, really, but I unironically believe this could have been something decently good if executed differently and with a little more care and patience.

This was a great manga.

Art looked good. Panels and fillings looked good. I always give a plus to artstyles that I can recognize.

Plot and development I liked. The episodic nature let me read this at my own pace and prevented fatigue over the many years of publication. I could put it on hold and catch up without worry. The simple plot made each chapter nice to read during a break or during a bit of downtime. It also helped to keep the chapters straightforward without a bunch of needless filler that I don't prefer. This didn't feel like a slow burn to me. It oddly ... felt just right in terms of romantic progression and entertainment.

The conclusion was perfect. I have no complaints. It answered my questions, fulfilled what I wanted out of the story, and left me hopeful and positive for everything outside of the pages.

Great romance. I would recommend this.

I thought it was meh.

Art was about the same as the preceding first anime season. Animation was slightly better. There was much better use of the cgi models this time so that was an improvement. Nothing to write home about here.

Plot and development I did not like. Comparing just to the manga and not the light novel, some things were altered for the sake of time, cut out, or just not adapted well. I thought it would be a stretch to fit the whole goblin paladin adventure into just under an hour and a half while making it feel good and I was right.

Conclusion ... I liked because it was nice to see it voiced/adapted and I liked the ending song.

I didn't dislike it. I appreciate that it was done. I just think that there was nothing I feel that would make me recommend this over just reading the manga. There are some anime adaptations where I prefer the anime over the manga, a recent example is Bocchi the Rock, but this one was not one of them. Not recommended.

Art was great. It was clean, good looking, and unique.

Plot and development were good. Story was presented at a good pace, things and concepts were explained well, and it overall didn't feel like a slog. Each chapter was entertaining. There were just enough detail and backstory to keep things interesting but still mysterious until the end. Cool moments were cool, comedy was funny, the world was interesting, and the character interactions and developments were entertaining and meaningful.

Conclusion was good and satisfactory. I felt satisfied with the questions answered, what the future held for the cast, and the potential for everything outside ... of the pages.

Art and animation looked good, clean, and fluid.

Plot and development were done well. This adaptation did a good job adapting the manga's 4-koma style. This adaptation did well in adding extra scenes, dialogue, and development to make everything flow nicely and feel like it belonged. I feel that it really expanded upon the strong points and interest points of the manga such as emphasizing Bocchi's particular feelings or delusions, drawing out the more interesting interactions among the characters in a good way, and adding more visual details to the world and setting such as how fleshed out Starry was visually compared to the ... manga. This also actually showcased some good music and animation of playing musical instruments. It did a good job of turning one of the manga's weak points into a strong point.

Conclusion was fine.

Another cute girls doing cute things, but good because I liked how well this adaptation was done. I would recommend both this and the manga.

I thought it was fine.

Art was a bit rough and so was most of the animation. Most of that budget went into their anime presentations which looked pretty good.

Faithful to the manga with some nice additions to make things flow better or more interesting. This was a good adaptation.

Plot and development were fine.

It's about kids drawing anime/animation with the struggles and joys that come with it. The neat little tips and tricks about animation, corner-cutting, and narrative devices were cool and informative.

It was entertaining enough. Too bad the manga has no scanlation/translation support as of writing this. I would recommend this, it was unique.

I liked this but was a little sad that it didn't go further.

The art was good and unique. It's easy to recognize Tugeneko's style across other works/anthologies. I really like the style.

The plot and development were fine. The day-in-the-life chapters were each fresh and entertaining to keep me turning pages. I think this manga did a good job maintaining my interest over the few years I was reading it because each chapter was its own thing. However, I feel this point is also what left me a bit disappointed in the end. The long explanations of each invention got a tad tiring later on and ... I found myself skimming those walls of text or skipping them entirely.

The conclusion left me a bit disappointed. The conclusion sort of just happened. For a manga that's about the unrequited feelings of the protagonist and their attempts to change that, I really felt left out to dry with this manga's conclusion and overall general progression of the story. The episodic nature was a really slow burn in terms of relationship development and by the end of it all I really got nothing.

Overall this manga was both a funny and entertaining comedy. However, that's it. The serious romance aspects of this manga were fine in its teaspoon style for a while, but felt not enough and even starved by the conclusion and the way it was handled. I thought this was a great comedy but a poor romance. I would recommend reading it though.

This is a fantastic manga.

Art was fine. The style is unique and recognizable which is a plus.

The plot and development were fine too. Despite following the same formula for its entire run, the stagnant development legitimately creates its own appealing charm and really does a good job of driving home the final sentiment of how romantic and irreplaceable their unchanging everyday lives are.

The conclusion was sentimental and a bit sad, but it was surprisingly appropriate. No conclusion as to what may be, no confessions, no what ifs. Their everyday school lives, their hijinks and jokes, ever unchanging will continue outside of the pages. ... I'm satisfied with that.

This was a fantastic read. I feel a bit empty at the time of writing this like something is missing. I know from experience that that is a good thing when I finish any particular anime or manga; that's how much I appreciate this manga. I recommend reading this; there isn't anything quite like this gem.
