Hmm, that was a decent conclusion to this arc I guess. It was better than the last arc, but still wasn't as good as the shizue and orc lord arc. Judging by the anime rapidly glossing over some events at the end and stating "that story is for another time" I am guessing they skipped some stuff.
Edit : judging by the comments, they did skip some major stuff. Could have been better as a 26 episode series without filler episodes at the end. 6.5/10 from me.

That was a horribly lackluster ending for the "main story". I wish they would have just skipped the unnecessary recap and ending, and just show us that golem part instead. Or even better if we just don't get two extra episodes, which could have just been OVAs with the BR version, so we could get some extra time.
Chloe and that other girl were cute, fawning over Rimuru :D Especially Chloe mustering her courage to "confess" to Rimuru. It was adorable.
Anyway, I guess this basically confirms that Chloe was the Hero after all, and now everything comes full circle. Showing Veldora a few times was a pretty obvious hint at her being related to the Hero in some way. I still wonder how she is time travelling, but I guess it's only explained later. I wish Rimuru kept the cool mask, but it's only natural he gives it back.
I'm just gonna go right ahead and say my closing lines for the anime now. Even with this lackluster ending, I still loved the series quite a lot. I never found Rimuru's OPness boring, since it didn't really feel like that's what the story is about.
Characters were pretty much all great in their own way, although my favorites were Rimuru, Shizue and Milim. I also enjoyed how the Great Sage is getting more and more personality, which I'm sure will become more important later in the story.
I liked that we didn't only have comedy (which was almost always good), and that even with Rimuru being as OP as he is, we could still have some drama and emotional moments, especially Shizue's story.
Animation was not always good, but I didn't really care about it. The character designs are what really mattered, which were all good. Rimuru having the body of Shizue, or at least one similar to her, is a very nice touch with a deep meaning. And I just like his design as a whole.
All in all I had a lot of fun, and I hope we can get a 2nd season someday. If not, then I'll just have to read the source material. For now, I'm giving this anime a 9/10. It's far from perfect, but it has grown on me a lot from the very beginning.
LOLZ this entire episode feels like a final episode since it has all the recaps of what happened to Rimuru on the cave up until the 5 children!
that person hidden at the back of the tree i noticed that person hte the first OP clashing with Rimuru...i wonder who that is!?
damn! 2 episodes left! This series definitely should have S2!
All the kids crying before Rimuru left! they are absolutely attached to him! it was touching!
5/5.

That because it was the final episode . The the other two are extras with one of them focusing on the guy at the end
I have to say I’m certainly disappointed. That baited first opening... they didn’t have the fight!
I don’t enjoy the second half as much as the first half. It’s way too rushed.
I dunno, I'm probably the only one in the comments who actually really liked this adaptation as it was, even with its cuts from book 3 and 4.
Almost all of those things can easily be inserted in the next season without much of a problem, except maybe some things they straight modified to fit the narrative and pacing (like the time Rimuru spent with the kids and the merchant guy thing).
Regardless of the extras, I'm still giving this a solid 8/10, it really made me feel good watching, and I didn't have this feeling in neither the manga nor the books tbh.
After thinking about it . I get what people mean now with the first half being better . I guess becouse they took there time and not fill on rushed like they did after the orc fight and didn't really leave any breathing room Especially with the kids one momment we meet them the next they are gone again .
The production team really was no help for the anime. Thanks to them it was rushed like hell
wtf was this episode? Rushed af, 2 song montages directly after another?? Like why?
This weak "final" kinda ruined the entire thing, Im tempted to give it a 6 now, thats definitely what the story and characters and world building deserve. Only saving grace score wise was the execution, and that was really ruined how.
Also, what about the teased fight from the OP?
Everything gets resolved in 1 or 2 episodes, imagine being shizu, dedicated to save those kids lifes. And the solution was this simple.. pathetic.
I still think Shizu was the 10/10 part of this show, character and backstory just worked. I would have loved an anime about her way more than a random wish fullfillment isekai like this was at the end.
But thats too harsh maybe, I did enjoy watching it. At the same time .. you dont miss anything if you dont watch this. Which isnt what the current score implies.
"This emotion is mine alone.
It is for Madoka alone." - Homura
or how I would descripe Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.
Who was the person Rimuru summoned for the golem? Is that important? I really hated how they were like "yeah this is important but not right now so fuck you" and who was the guy that we saw looking at Rimuru through a 'crystal ball' or whatever? Was that the spirit that he summoned?
Quite interesting episode and pretty much the open ending of this first season to keep in form for the second season that got announced. Pretty solid in general and with the whole "spirit that came from the future" it really seemed that it was herself's future spirit. If so the second season sure can get quite interesting.
Really looking forwards for the continuation of this series and what the other "extra" and OVA episodes will offer!
Ultimately a very good run. The first half that's up to Orc Disaster arc is almost a masterpiece once again and definitely hard carried the series. Still an 8/10 for me overall and recommend to watch.

Yea, the beginning episodes and arc stayed a bit with the manga's plot line.
But near the middle they decide to start rushing it (apparently the plot is to base on the LN instead of manga, which the manga had more details and better story)
Personally I wished they would have kept the story with the manga, there was a LOT of good scenes that was skipped and changed from the LN/ Anime.
(which most ppls in this thread mentioned)
If they had followed the manga, they probably wouldn't have to do 2 extra fillers. (that's almost exactly how much stuff they skipped that was in the manga)
Nothing Written Here But Us Anime Bunnies *boing boing boing*
So the main arc is ended.
2 side stories to go.
The starting was much better.
The ending was quite missing the suspense.
Well, let's see what S2 has to offer.
The episode feels like filler and not conclusive at all. But its saved by a sudden announcement of a sequel, so the staff decide to end it with a meh ending. Overall a fine season all around.
This is basically the last ep of the show. I'm a bit disappointed with the change from the fun 1st half to a more serious 2nd half tbh. The 2nd half for some reason just doesn't have the magic the 1st half has. But overall still a very nice Isekai.
Decent concept but after a charming beginning the second cour felt underwhelming. Making your protagonist op can only lead to a narrative dead-end like this.
Finale was okay they threw a recap on us, but at least Rimuru saved those children. I'm enjoying the series so far, definitely need a 2nd season since there are more demon lords that Remuru yet to encounters. plus the veldora still resides inside Remuru will he ever be out ? cuz in the Opening animation i saw Remuru riding Veldora.
It would be great if there's a canon couple for the series like Kirito x Asuna for example, yes i'm a SAO fanboy, but i don't think that's possible since Remuru is genderless.
Overall score 9/10, enjoyable and refreshing series looking forward for the next season.
They actually spent 3 minutes on a worthless flashback... I hate lazy shit like that which only fills time but contributes zero new content. Episode 25 was similar but far worse. Sigh.
I really liked this anime just a bit sad that the second half seemed so rushed compared to the first one...Still two extras episodes to see, I wonder what they are exactly and hope that for the second season they redo as in the first half of this season.
While I'm not a fan of music videos inside animes and recaps, the combination presented in this show was really joyful and pleasant to watch. Soothing music went along with all scenes featuring Rimuru's friends and his town in general. I loved it.
I'm glad those children were saved. I'm worried about Chloe, though. She looks like younger Shizu, she got her mask and powerful spirit who inhabited her body was quite awkward. Was it Shizu's soul or what? Ramiris was also shocked, though she is hyperactive all the time, so it didn't surprise me much. ;D
It was a finale to the main story, right? It was of course very good and it blended into whole anime's atmosphere, but too bad, it was a beautiful, lighthearted journey. Good to know there will be Season 2.
I'm not a fan of isekai and I haven't seen many animes of this genre, but this one was the best isekai show I have ever seen. Really worth watching piece of anime.

I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal over Rimuru leaving. They're already shown that Rimuru can instantly portal between the school and the forest at will.
maybe i was a bit dense, I feel like they were:
-hinting something with hinata, veldora and chloe,
-the mask feeling natural to give to chloe.
-also the mention of the fairy of time.
-rimuru saying that he has seen chloe somewhere before..
-the mention of reincarnation
I just made a random hypothesis that maybe chloe is hinata? (due to black hair, blue eyes and all the hinting that I couldn't understand)
if it's something obvious im missing please let me know. without spoiling if possible. also what chapter did they skip in the manga/ what part should i read from after watching this episode?
I just had a thought watching this episode. (Well Ive had this thought since the dwarven episode.) When Rimiru did the fated one ball thing at the dwarven place the first person we saw wasnt Shizu it was Chloe. And Rimiru just gave Chloe the mask and the Queen of faries mentioned something about time. Is Chloe the master of Shizu in this weird time paradox thing where she goes back in time to save Shizu from the demon lord and when she said "We'll meet again." she was refering to Shizu becoming their teacher to the young Chloe?!?!?!?
Its a pretty out their theory of mine but it honestly makes sense cause they're focusing on Chloe a lot and they hinted at the dragon popping up when they first met Chloe hinting about a link of him being sealed (The hero that took Shizu in.) etc and the reason she left Shizu was so she'd go on a journey and meet the kids and meet Rimiru etc. Some Doctor Who level shit here if this ends up being true lol.
It would be a bit sad to think that Shizu wasnt actually Rimiru's "destined one". But I guess she mainly acted as a driving force for Rimiru.

Yuritopia FTW!!!!!!!!! BANZAI TO YURI !!!!!!!!!!!!
While this was a satisfying ending for season 1, the fact that all these hints about what would happen next are followed by several "filler" like episodes. I want season two!
I am pretty sure, as well, that Chloe obtained the reincarnated spirit of Shizu's teacher. Re-watching this, I am still waiting for Rimuru to finally tell his friends that he had Veldora in his belly! Heck, I want that tsundere dragon to come out of Rimuru and meet these people. I feel he could explain at least half of the unanswered questions at the end of Season 1.
technically this is the last episode for this season featuring Rimuru until season 2, the next 2 episodes are side-stories so imma blop this here.
Yeh, TenSura was a good watch i really enjoyed it overall. Story was pretty rich, loved the ideas they through in and the overall twist they did on the isekai genre as a whole, but i did feel it slightly loose passing nearer the end, characters we're all enjoyable in their unique ways i definitely liked the different species they used and introduced in this anime. Animation, also ngl was really pristine till nearer the end where it did feel like it kinda dropped to average (for me), sound quality was decent and the op and ed themes were aight.
Story itself i absolutely loved, the ideas they used were really unique and enjoyable. Instead of the usual Isekai plot of mc being reincarnated into a human (or just themselves again) this anime took a really interesting approach, were Rimuru gets turned into probably one the most looked down upon enemies ever imaginable, like start forest tier enemy, a fucking slime. Seeing the mc's perspective through the eyes of something other then human felt nice for a change and definitely led to more enjoyable moments and events. Veldora's encounter with Rimuru was amazing, kick started most events and gave Rimuru the biggest 1-up a slime could get. Another thing i loved about the approach to story was the more pacifist, maybe peaceful options that Rimuru took along the way, being an literal ascended being after leaving the cave, he could very well of ruled the majority of the forest with an iron fist, however he didn't and instead almost enforced a peaceful society of his own, the goblins and Direwolf arc was a great arc to show what type of Rimuru would be when put into a position of power, he showed really great leadership with establishing basic rules and putting priories for the village together, but the most important one was how he wanted to unit species to more or less coexist with one another as equals. This really was the main rule for the village as continuing into the story with the orc war arc we see this "coexistence" rule play a massive part in having good reputation for the village and more or less the survival of the forest. Although this could be seen as a small detail, i really enjoyed the more peaceful and non hostile approach this anime did with any other species that weren't humans.
The orc war arc itself was brilliant, i thought it was well executed. The introduction to Gelmud naming Gerudo was only the beginning, it started small then as each episode went by you could see how much more of a threat the growing army was really becoming. The arc introduced the ogre's who are personal favourites and were the 4th species to join the much thriving village at this point, they played a massive role in this arc as well as the lizardmen. As much as i know how much people hate Gabiru, honestly i was ok with his character throughout the entire arc, it was only after did i start to creep into liking him more. Overall this arc was good, showed how joining forces with others towards a neutral foe can go a long way and was really also a good point to see how strong Rimuru was in terms of raw power. The ending was heartbreaking, we see king Gerudo acknowledge how he only did this out of desperation to save his people and it ultimately backfiring, and was it a damn good emotion story he told. Won't lie when i say it got me in the feels :c the aftermath of the arc was good as well, Dryads give Rimuru the title of councillor of the forest and now have 5 different species living in unison and harmony. After this however i did feel like this anime tripped on it's own momentum, true King Dwargo making the town of "Rimuru" an official nation for monsters and humans to live in with a peaceful alliances was nice, and the first 2-3 episodes was just showing off how modernised the town actually was at this point. Millim's appearance was an absolute GOD SENT, thank you Kami-sama for this absolute adorable girl of pure destruction i will treasure her with my life, i enjoyed her character a lot. However leading on from it, i felt like the story slightly dipped, Charybdis fight arc felt PAINFULLY short. Idk they way they present it, giant ancient fish, the child of Veldora a cartographic-classed dragon, having the Dryads in panic as where the fuck it came from and have the demon lord Clayman on the edge of his seat in anticipation. You'd THINK it would be a much bigger fight then the entire orc arc with how much hype they buit for it, but by the time i could comprehend how dangerous this thing could pose to the world, Millim used her powers of being an absolute cutie with enough firepower of an atom bomb and gave it a slap Millim fucking swatted it out of the sky like a fly.
I understand with context it makes sense why Millim could do that, but they completely forgot to mention it in the anime which made things more confusing in my opinion.
Final arc really didn't sit well with me, felt it was really out of place for Rimuru to suddenly after finding the culprit to the orc war and the resurrection of Charybdis to suddenly almost ignore them completely and save Shizue student who still had like 5 years left in them. The final arc itself felt really...iffy, time skips and scenes dragging along, won't lie i did start loosing interest here, but don't get me wrong the ending was wholesome and interesting, the spirit that enters Chloe hinting at way more shit to come and Ramiris talk of the demon Lord Leon, but to COMPLETELY end the season on that :/ idk i just felt improper for me.
Characters, all were great. Each species had a person that more or less stood out for them the most, Gobuta the true hero literally the walking definition of "never judge a book by it's cover", Ranga was cute despite his size and fucking op skills they like to remind us that he can sometimes just be a really big dog xD, honestly all the Kaiji/ogres were amazing, but i'd eat Shion's cooking any day of the week, again Millim is a fucking cutie with more firepower then all the nations and again Gabiru is really just a joker, Fukushima Jun as his VA was really the cherry on top for him. The 3 humans as well, they were pretty chill, showed that not all humans are paranoid freaks who will stab anything with more then 2 arms and legs.
OP and EDs were ok, OP 1 definitely felt so more refined then the second one, maybe to the point were comparing the two would be like comparing mineral water to sparkling water. OP1 just felt way smoother in the animation department compared to the second which felt more average.
All in all, 8/10 from me. Solid anime, definitely one of the more interesting isekai animes that definitely stands out more then the rest, again only problem was the last few episode felt like a shot in the foot from them and i did feel my ratings of this anime drop.
nobody in here is being concerned about the fact that one of the kids didn't get a spirit? (The kid that was having berserk mode or wte). Then Rimiru says "We're done" like what the hell?!?!?! :/ :s Annnnd nobody here on this very forum here talk about that very fact, either :( outrageous
