Cute anime but I'm not expecting too much from this considering there's a lot of gimmicks and themes about maids. If you're not into that stuff, this could be a sluggish ride.

Fan service is present in this too. I like the maid with the eyepatch so far.

Got some laughs from this in terms of the comedy. Tsubame is a funny maid.

An anime that starts with a display of F2 fighter jets always has my approval!!
Anyway how does one go from a F2 pilot to unemployed is somewhat of a mystery.

Anyway it seems that the ojou or better said the poor blond girls will be having a very hard time.

This is what can possibly go wrong the anime. Tsubame is a surprisingly good maid and also uses her brain, physique, and military experience to her advantage when going after Misha, you'd think she would be the opposite given the nature of the anime. Misha's father is also complete airhead, I mean what father hires someone who was spying on their daughter from a power pole.

I loved this.

Absolutely ridiculous premise executed to almost perfection in my eyes. I laughed a lot.

I can see potential character development with the little hints of backstory thrown around, too so i'm thoroughly happy with this episode.

The animation is worth an extra mention. When Misha ran down the stairs, YOOO!

Damn, as a manga reader i admit the plot is so so and a bit stagnant BUT the quality of these animations, these are on a complete different level compared to every first episode i see till now, never seens something so detailed and smooth, and they keep this quality for all the 20 minutes, even the stilized ED is masterfully animated.

Kenko, she is 100 times better working on ero manga and this one infact is a bit generic and anticlimatic, but the studio behind this adaption was able to make something not so relevant into a quasi masterpiece. Sasuga Doga Kobo.

I guess I kind of enjoyed it..?

"Yes officer, the anime in question is right here."

In all honesty, I expected this to be some lolicon-pandering kind of show, but this show is actually REALLY funny at times.
But in all honesty, how could she have went from high-class military individual to a freakin' maid??

Will I continue to watch this? Probably.
Not sure if I'd watch it in it's entirety when it airs, but if I do watch it it'll most likely be after the season ends.

Is this creepy? Cause I was kinda feeling a bit creeped out. The first half felt fine I guess. It seemed like some doting mother on her child. But towards the end it just started reaching that line that separates innocent love to creepiness.

I'm pretty sure Tsubame wasn't the one flying - she said she's a former master-sergeant, and NCOs don't fly.

Well, since it is the same studio that gave us 'Gabriel DropOut' (DON'T BULLI SATANIA!) and the short 'Mangirl' I also very liked even it was a short and I know I still have to see 'New Game!!', 'Yuru Yuri' and the Coco-Cola NEET anime 'Himouto! Umaru-chan', I thought I would give this one a go.

Hmm, I don't know yet. I'm not feeling it yet. I feel like I've seen better similair anime. The maid however sure is RIPPED, that's for sure. In before a lot of Death by Snu-Snu Doujinshi spawn from this anime maid. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Will I contineu watching? Eh, probably.

I love Doga Kobo's work, and I loved this anime a lot
Misha is so adorable, I understand perfectly why Tsubame is fond of her.
Tsubame gave me a lot of laughter, she is quite intelligent and knows how to make Misha lower her guard, and damn ... that well-cared body, I would love a maid like that.
Apparently the attitude of Misha has something to do with the death of her mother, I hope they go into detail in future episodes.

I loved this episode, it gave me hope for this season. The synopsis implied there would be Ryou no Oshigoto type antics but it was instead filled with laugh out loud moments. I’m looking forward to more.

Was a bit afraid when the show opened on a 15s still shot followed by two very unremarkable CG planes...
However it turned around really quickly and ended up being a very enjoyable first episode, with really out there stuff in it.

That stair rundown with the awesome unnecessary angles. Looked like some animator flexing his muscles tbh.

The girls are cute and the one liners had me bursting. Good promise overall.

Also, loved the ED!

Ugh. This is supposed to be the trashy show that I'd drop after the first episode...

But it's actually really good. Not only that, but the concept is something we should hate. Yet, it's executed so nicely that I find it quite entertaining.
The animation is great too.

A solid 8/10. I guess I have no choice but to keep watching.

This is so hilarious and Tsubame could end up as best girl of the season.

So far so good, I'm only worried that this might get stale fast.

Okay I’m totally not into stuff of this nature at all. Maids, lolis, they’re just not my thing. But I did find this to be a little cute and enjoyable even. Tsubame is creepy, but very very likeable. I’ll probably end up watching the next episode, just out of curiosity. Also the animation is fantastic.

I was really worried this would've been a generic 3 minute gag anime, but I'm so glad it isn't. I've read whatever of the manga is already translated (not much at all, pretty much just what is covered in episode 1), and I'm really glad Doga Kobo did not hold back. I also really loved the quality in animation. That running sequence (as someone else pointed out), must've hogged a good portion of the budget.

It is pretty good. This series has good storytelling with an interesting set of characters. When I was watching the first episode, I could not help but compare my experience of Uzamaid with Umaru-Chan a couple of times. I guess the two main characters take cues from the main duo of Umaru. The annoying brat Tsubame reminds me of Umaru, with Misha being the tame one like Taihei, and both are living together too. I cannot help but think that this series will deliver good promise. That and the ok OST, the surprising amount of sakuga, and the way characters are handled/developed feels very parallel to my experience of watching Umaru. I am definitely going keep up with this anime for sure this season.

I expected absolutely nothing from this, and I left really entertained.

That was awesome.

This Fall 2018 season seems like a show that will have many poor sequels (except Jojos) but many awesome non-sequel shows, and this maid show easily seems to be one of them.

so damn conflicted on this show the whole premise is the worse but Doga somehow managed to keep in mostly cute and light hearted but you can't not shake off the lolicon vibes with it being anime and all but this show normally would had ended right at her interview ,doesn't help with the mangaka's track record as well...

gonna see how much i can handle it really do like watching Doga animes since their animated so well and normally CGDCTs and this isn't any sleeper the whole episode was packed full of it but i loved the scene when she was running down the stairs.
