It is not possible for us to pick the top 100 anime whats-so-ever since there is no criteria, or definition of ''good anime'' to begin with. Popularity is already one of the best stats we can rely on. I see some of you may question the credibility of the list because Fairy tail and Tokyo ghoul are high up on the list. (I don't even have an opinion because I don't watch much action anime) But they are indeed the top anime in the eyes of manypeople, and that's the entire point of the poll. We should just accept that they are the top anime decided by the western community (in this poll). I mean seeing all the action shounen shows high up on the list actually improve the list's credibility, based on how popular these shows are in the west. |
