| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was fun. I loved that segment with the chatting between Aoba and Hifumi outside of their work environment during lunch. Looks like the episode still has focus a little bit more on character design as it's such an important aspect of game making. That glasses girl is pretty amusing tbh, hope she will be around almost every episode this season. Hifumi also looked cute in all those outfits she was trying on at the store. I think she's getting better at being conversational. Umiko and her head flicking was hilarious. I still find her relationship with Nene to be fun to watch this season so far. |

| I swear Nene and Ahagon are my favorite pairing this season. It's like watching a cute little spoilt kid follow her bigger sister around. Love how both of them are both attempting to make graphic flames at the same time, and both make their respective games crash, hahaha! After that, it's Hifumi trying to act the big sister to Aoba. Hifumi being so sensitive to what Aoba is feeling and worrying about is beautiful to watch. Makes me envious that she has such a great person to look out for her at work. |

| Hifumi looked so cute trying on different outfits. She's trying her best to hold a conversation. I think she's getting better. Looks like Aoba is having trouble contributing. Hifumi noticed it and was worried about her. Nene is working on a game from scratch. Umiko gave her some advice. I like seeing them working together. Her head flicking was funny. |

| Aoba got a huge boost of confidence after getting her new role in the company, that made her so excited to help everyone! Sadly for her, things are not as easy, there is still a lot for her to learn, Hifumi did a great job in making her realize that. The Nene and Ahagon moments are so much fun! I love this duo. |

| Hifumi is just so adorable, best girl of the season. Seems like we are getting a lot of character development this season, liking it more than the 1st season. Also helps that we got the yuri pairings more or less decided coming from last season. |
| Aoba is having some trouble. Thankfully, Hifumi is there to support her and stops the drama from spreading. |

| Nice episode. Hifumi was so adorable this episode. <3 Loved her shopping scene and the part where she as trying to cheer up Aoba, she even treated everyone at the end. Speaking of which, Aoba was a little worried at the start since she doesn't know 3D modelling too well but I'm glad to see her being supported by the team. Nene and Umiko make a really nice pair and I love how they were both trying to program a flame effect. It's nice to see their mentor-mentee relationship. Umiko totally wrecked Hazuki in this episode, with the finger flicks and the final scene. xD |

| Lovely episode. Hifumi was especially cute and I also liked her talk with Aoba and how she took the pressure from her. Nene and Umiko on the other hand were also pretty fun to watch. So far I'm enjoying this season a lot more than the previous one due to the nice character interaction. |

| Yuri vibes intensify with this episode. Good to see that there is some actual drama going on in this season that makes the characters actually experience growth thanks to their interactions with one another. Hifumi and Aoba talking together in the restaurant is a prime example of this. I mean the tidbit of tension alone in this episode and that scene as mentioned before instantly makes me respect this season much more than the first. Also seeing Umiko and Nene bond together is really endearing as well. Finally this series is getting more depth then its moe cutesy vibe that I've been getting since first season. |

| Lot's of Hifumi service this episode which is something we can always use more of. Nene seems to be making progress on Nene quest, her game is turning out ok from the looks of things. And Umiko had to endure lot's of teasing ones again. |

| There was so much good about this episode I don't know where to start. I could watch a spin-off anime featuring Nene and Umiko as main characters. In the first season Nenecchi's voice grated on me the first few times she appeared, but by the end of the season she had really grown on me. Now I miss her if she doesn't make an appearance. Along with Nenecchi, Umiko's expanded role adds to the appeal of New Game!! And not to forget that the other characters are all great. Aoba's dilemma at the beginning and her lunch with Hifumi, the food banter between Ko and Rin, Hifumi rushing out of the store without buying anything because the sales girl made some suggestions. Ms Manager's over the top yuri vibe. |
| Seeing the characters struggle with their roles is something new in this season. I think the 2nd season is more focused on the "working" part and it's good. |

Amazing episode. Nene and Umiko still have their fun little friendship. Hifumi is becoming more conversational. Aoba seems more confident, yet realizes she cannot do everything. So many good points out of this episode. I wish I know how I can use saved screenshots in my post |

| Another good episode. That was funny watching Hifumi at the start. Feel a bit sorry for Aoba as she wasn't able to contribute as much as she wanted to for her design. Umiko & Nene get along quite well, both are working on a creature that breathes fire. |

| This is a girlfriend leaving her comfort zone in order to help her girlfriend with her insecurities and troubles. This is true love. She's so happy her future girlfriend is calling her after a while! <3 <3 Here, we have a girlfriend who made food for her girlfriend. And she's upset that the woman her girlfriend admires stole the first bite, meant for her girlfriend. And here, we have the girlfriend upset at her girlfriend for saying the other girl's food may be better than her girlfriend's food. You don't just do that, Kou. Da fak?! Here, we have a woman lowkey admitting to letting her girlfriend feed her. | 5/5 God damn, Hifumi was so entertaining in this episode. She's definitely my favorite girl in this series. She's so adorable. One of the best things about New Game is how well all the character interactions and personality blend together. It makes it such a fun viewing. We need more Ahagon and Nene moments as well! Those two probably have the most entertaining interactions together. Their chemistry is too great! I really hope Nene interns with the company again soon. I would really love to see how Nene and Hifumi interact with each other. I bet that would be funny as hell. |

| Umiko and Sakura was completely unexpected, but I'm actually liking this pairing a lot! I'm also happy with the Hifumi and Aoba interactions this episode. So cute! I'm sure Hifumi will be a lot of help to Aoba as well, when learning about 3D :D @sarroush But we already know it will just be baiting the whole season ;_; |

I made my own  by swapping in Aoba's open mouth from another frame. lol I dunno how anyone can hate on the Nenechii. She's maximum adorbs, especially around Brownie-senpai. |

| Great episode! I really enjoyed it a lot especially the interaction between Nene and Umiko. They are a really good duo to be honest and that "sister/big sis" or "sempai/kohai" bond they have is kinda heartwarming to watch (I don't ship them... I just can't imagine it, sorry). P.S.: Even when Hifumi is upsed she's soooo adorable ♥ (She was awesome this episode too)  |
| Nene and Umiko might be the showstealer of the second season. I'm invested. Umiko really likes to help Nene with her programming ever since she was at Eagle Jump and she seems happy as well. Aoba feeling the pressure of needing to contribute as a an official character designer, knew this was happening as soon as her second or third line in this episode. I can't believe that it was Hifumi who tried to help her calm herself, very brave of her. She's progressing :D |

| Umiko and Nenechi have such a fun and lovely relationship, really like their moments together, and Hazuki's too. Nenechi's Smug face lol  I liked Hifumi too, aside from her pure cuteness, going out of her way to help out Aoba. ^^ |

Of all the mad shit I'm watching, I'm glad my moe-blob show is damned solid itself, striking a neat balance between serious work life and fanservice. The best part of this ep has to be the whole lunchbreak scene. Lol Ko digging herself into crap. |
| Nene x Umiko moments are the things i look forward to most every ep i mean i still love the series as a whole and love the other characters but Nene x Umiko is just the best anyway am looking forward to next ep! and more Nene x Umiko am so happy we getting so much more of it this season! |

| Nene Quest. Adorbscopter. So much fun. This season might actually be stonger than the first. Umiko is REALLY growing on me. Her interactions with the others are hilarious and cute. The others constantly gets flustered and panicky. Umiko is a rock with a heart. Flick. Much love in the comments for Hifumi, but she's a bit TOO shy and socially inept for me. I get a bit frustrated with her. Her shopping for clothes was great, tho. |

| So like... I love Hifumi. I also really like Umiko. Weird how they mix up the chapters but its also quite nice and flows well, I don't remember the first half all that much but I remember the bit with them programming the fire very recently as well as the bit with Hifumi's lunch, both parts I enjoyed a lot in the manga. |

| I'm pretty sure EAGLE JUMP will hire Nenecchi and she'll be the next programmer alongside with Umiko! Hifumi-sempai is really pretty in that different outfits! thou she still have troubles on her social skills! Aoba felt down because even-though she's the assigned Character designer, she couldn't relate to the 3D designing of her co-workers good thing Hifumi was concerned about her and they ate at a restaurant and wow that's yummy lobster pasta! 4/5. |

| Definitely best episode so far of the series. Hifumi is Love! Hifumi is Life! Umiko x Nene is definitely picking up! So is Hifumi x Aoba! And of course my OTP Ko x Rin! Keep at it Rin, Ko is your waifu. That much is guaranteed. Hazuki is finally in character here, with her one track mind about kawaii girls. A gripe that I had about the first season. The past two episodes have made the series from the completely light-hearted comedy that was season 1, to a deeper, much better story with a little drama. Too much will be distasteful but this much is good. And Finally! Hifumi is Love! Hifumi is Life!... Oh, did I say that already? Doesn't matter, it's worth saying again. |

| Hifumi for fanservice MOAARRR, I really like her cute, tere-tere side. For this eps, I also like her chara development, acts like senpai and helps Aoba. Nene x Ahagon relation is pretty sweet, it's more like little sister clinging and asking to her Onee-chan. Yet, NG+ OTP still Rin x Ko. I'm still waiting for Aoba x Hifumi to develop. :p |

In this case, probably both. have you just watched episode 3 without watching the entire season 1? lol ep 4 ss 1: Aoba have her first paycheck and she thought about buying clothes but she want to keep wearing her suit because that is her parents: gift to her when she was hired by Eagle Jump ep 11 ss 1: Aoba's mom forget washing the suit so Aoba end up wearing another set of clothes (nearly Chino cosplay xd) and EVERYONE than Aoba (and Kou) wear different kind of clothes almost each episode. how can you think that this is low budget or lazy lol. It's more like studio's effort to characterize Aoba as a little bit childish (the suit look like school uniform tbh) Childish might well be the reason. I still think it's lazy. And yes all the other characters do change clothes, but it's just a bit annoying to me and it's a distraction (again, in my opinion.) |
