| Although it's not unpopular, I feel like "Monster" should be a lot more popular considering how awesome it is. It is a very serious anime though and doesn't have any gratuitous "sexy" or "gore" scenes, has a slow pace and isn't action-packed, which I feel is the reason for ist relative lack of popularity. |

Everyone recommends the manga but I never met someone who has actually tried both. I want to do it but the anime isnt save and im not that into manga... OT: Mind Game is always the answer, Dead Leaves is another one. Memories should be a classic. Bartender is nice and feel like it should appeal to a bigger audience. The 6th One Piece movie seems unpopular for both its quality and such a franchise. |

| @SpaghettiSpike it's just 13 episodes what can go wrong and the 80s madhouse movie trilogy each manga volume is a different story, and the anime covers just part of them if you like then read the manga for more hi no tori, and most likely also more details in some of the stories |

| Koi Kaze is under 50K members on MAL, came out 13 years ago without looking dated, and is the only thought-provoking and tasteful anime show with incest as a theme, a theme that is pretty common all things considered. It'd be my ace for such a description. Don't let the just-above-average rating fool you, it's just because it's a heavily polarizing anime for all the right reasons. |
