| It's good to see this pick up right back from the end of season 1. Honestly pretty WTF: Wall Rose is breached and some Beast Titan is seen that has the intelligence of a human; he might be one. When people were saying how others may not likw S2 that much because of new mechanics being introduced left and right, I can see what they were refering to. Hope this doesn't get worse.... OP looks pretty interesting, while ED... WTF is on my screen.. |

| Great its back! But for some reason it feels weird. Starts with the weak OP and OST in general, followed by the animation which dont look as great to me as 2013 AoT. Story looks interesting, I mean a talking beast titan? Really? I have the feeling that most anime never get a second (or third) season because the story in generals gets trash beyond that. It kinda looks like this here as well. I hope it wont be garbage at the end of the season. 12 Eps is not enough. |

Check out kissanime. snk season 2 episode 1 has over 6k comments in a single day I don't think any other series has top that, which even surpass one punch man final episode reply count which is currently over 5k, and that ended like 1+ years ago. even anime reddit have over 1k comment over snk season 2. though there is over 1k mal users that has voted on this episode, but it seems a lot of people are commenting at other places instead of mal. So using mal as an indication is flawed. @JustALEX basically this ^ |
| Frankly I'm just hoping Mikasa, Eren and Levi stay out of the action as long as possible. The first time there's actually a little bit of tension in a long time. Please please stay far far away and take like 5 episodes to join in the action. (Anime-only btw, because AOT's only attraction is the animation and music, so why would I read the manga? For its character and plot? Pft.) |

I think I told you before that this season focus on the other characters that did not get much focus last season. Just like how next episode will focus on Sasha and her backstory base of the preview. So I'm guessing you may like this season more than the last one. |

| Attack on Titan just went straight into the show like it was immediately coming hot off the heels of last Season. there wasn't much in terms of characters, but more so on setting plot points. like the titans in the wall, or the titans breaching the wall. the art/animation are as good as before although i saw some noticeable usage of Cgi on the horses, but good nonetheless. the sound track is amazing as well. |

| Most of the episode was pretty average, but the final part was just wow. That new furry abnormal, I wonder who the hell that bastard is. And Miche... his death was so horrifying :( I can't wait for the next episode. |

| Been soooo long since I read this part in the manga that I was actually surprised by some scenes (did this happen?!!). Very enjoyable as expected. The ED has some massive spoilers though. If you're an anime only person, try to skip it over. With the budget this will have, I sure hope they don't do too much cheap CGI. Keep if it 2D guys. |

| The opening as always very awesome :D The titans who were waiting Beast titan's command were hilarious xD "I hope beast-senpai order me to eat human-kun" but why the second best should be dead already? :< we are already low in numbers. The foreshadowing is real in the ending O:! |
| My first impressions of the OP and ED were "Meh, the first season's OP (and ED) was definitely better." But after watching/listening to it a few more times, it has become my favorite opening out of them all. I think anime-only watchers will eventually be content with how this season plays out, but I believe it may take them a couple episodes (or even the whole season) for them to really appreciate both the opening, closing, and pacing. |

| Wow... Mike's death was horrible... That was despair. Btw very nice OP and ED. And honestly, I was ready to hear the "THE FIRST OP/ED IS BETTER OSAOKAOK" whining right in the 1st episode. I personally prefer these esp. the OP. The ED is as good as the 2nd ED of the 1st season. And I hate the people who are complaining about the animation. If you are gonna complain then might as well join the staff and draw better (but you can't) The animation is pretty great. People need to appreciate something called hardwork. |

| Can't believe this day is finally here when I watch the next AoT episode O_O I even broke with my policy to not watch short series while airing since it's one of my top 2 anime. Well the opening was great, felt like another version from and old soundtrack though, still good. Didn't expect them to continue exactly where we stopped, since we saw Annie being in some kind of dungeon in the last episode of the first season. Especially did not expect to even go back 12 hours to the past xD Was nice seeing the cast again, especially Levi and Mikasa. Totally didn't expect the Beast Titan to already appear in the first episode and even less to see him talking. Mike actually took 5 titans down all by himself, a shame he had to die... While I'm still a bit disappointed that this will only have 12 episodes, this first episode was still a great watch. No really boring moment for me, though that ending is really weird ^^; |

| It was okay. Nothing „new“. Same flow, same music, same drama … You expected what kind of show you will get. So I am missing that special feeling while watching the very first episodes some years ago. But some scenes with movements and action and stuff like that had a better quality imho. That was nice! The beast was a surprise, but since you already know something weird is going on … But its still interesting what is going to happen next. ^^ Opening was also okay but imho the weakest one so far. Maybe the song will grow in my mind after some time, dont know yet. Ending kinda boring, but there is some message shown people reading the manga already know I read. Aaaand the people still cant pronounce German names so good. xP |
| I love the shiny animation and am so stoked that this series is back. Season 2 started out the first episode with the intro to the Beast titan scene, which is my favorite scene in the manga so far (don't worry, no spoilers in this post). I thought it was great, but was surprised that it happened so suddenly and now it's over. I think the manga did a better job of drawing out the terror... or, it could just be the fact that after four fucking years of hype, my expectations were slightly too built up. But, I'm really looking forward to what's to come! |
| I've read the manga, understand most of the foreshadowing from the opening and ending, but there's just one thing that I'm not getting. Does anyone understand at the end of the opening, the Beast titan with all those animals? You can PM me or something, if it's too spoilerific (there's one explanation that I can think of, but it hasn't been confirmed in the manga). |

| Ahh, Mike. Surviving is a form of fighting too, especially when nothing is gained by your death. You should have quietly went inside the building. What a horrific death. The wall titans and (intelligent!) beast titan were interesting. |
| Now that is how you do the first episode of a sequel. Insane. Teeny, much needed recap at the beginning because hell, it's been a long time since ep 25 and then right into the good stuff without missing a beat. I've been spoiled about some things- like the walls being made out of Titans- but with how well this was executed, It doesn't even matter. Seriously, this episode looked so lush I had to go back and replay some of the scenes. It just looks stunning. If we keep getting this quality and pacing I'd say the wait was well worth it! Aside from the Wall stuff, we got some other big stuff happening...everyone in casual clothes the introduction of the Beast Titan that leads other Titans and can FREAKIN' TALK, Titans invading Wall Rose, and Mike's death which was so riveting and gross it made me feel all kinds of queasy. AoT always gives me this absolutely horrid feeling whenever someone's about to die...it's like I catch the second hand hopelessness. But hey, there the series goes again, crapping all over the "if I've got the will to live, I will survive!" trope. God, poor Mike. That was a gruesome way to go...and his legs were all twisted up too :/ I wonder who the Beast Titan actually is- that's one of the things I'm not too sure about. Music wise, I think this opening is the best one so far, but that ending song was about as easy on the ears as a cheese grater. It was bad imo, and I don't think it'll be growing on me. But I dunno, maybe it's purposely terrible. Like some sort of odd artistic statement lmao |
