| Well, well, that was something really stupid he did there in front of yakuza boss - lucky he was in good mood otherwise he would be surely dead. One can only guess but I believe she just wanted a son, someone who would continue Sukeroku's bloodline, and it didn't matter to her who his father would be. Rakugo presented is still bit lacking though. And it's no surprise as the first season had some superb voiceactors and the story was more compelling too. He can be pretty dependent at time but I wonder if Yotaro ever ditches his silly attitude. Anyway, another timeskip coming. Seems like her five-year son is gonna stir things further too. |

| It was fantastic! This confrontation with the Yakuza boss was so well played. Yotaru found his rakugo when he was defending Kotaru, he impressed me. It was a wonderful episode, I love this anime. Yakumo was perfect, his seiyuu is really the best. |
| Yotaro, the Yotaro heart had a heavy load, and the instant he has released it, he has begin to do his Rakugo!!! Nice episode, with a great Yotaro, but Yakumo´s rakugo in the lasts scenes was "subarashi"!!! ;) |
| Konatsu is the only wife who wants her husband to be introduced to a geisha lol I'm sure there are others into that NTR thing but it's just funny. Yotarou is really good with kids, well, at least he's good with Konatsu's son. The kid really loves him. That yakuza boss is kind of shady, he looks like a kind guy but who knows, he might actually kill Yotarou or something. Yotarou is more confident now and he's throwing some serious shade at him. Yotarou's energy and passion is ten times bigger than that of Sukeroku's. He's just doesn't think lol but I like that about him. He's my favorite character even though I think he's a big dummy most of the time. Matsuda-san was so cute, feeling all left out because Yotarou only bought four goldfish haha |

| Oh shit... Konatsu had a kid with the head mafia boss? That would definitely be a dealbreaker for some guys. Yotaro is a good guy, loving the kid all the same. When Kikuhiko did the rakugo at the end I immediately recognized the story from the first season. Even as an old man and imitating Sukeroku, he's still got it! Yotaro is really getting training from the best. |

| What an episode. That 360 shot of Yotarou ranting with his rakugo was so good. I just hope their business with each other is now over. Kiku grabbing his chest at the end there doesn't seem good at all. I don't like where this is headed :( |

| I loved this so much. I agree with most people, this was a pretty thrilling episode from start to finish. The rakugo rant with the gang boss was brilliantly animated. While it was happening, I was so caught up in the tension and drama I didn't even notice how awesomely animated it was. I had to go back after noticing everyone talking about it here. Is Konatsu trying to leave because she doesn't want the baby to go into the gang, like what Yotaro was ranting? That's what I gathered but I'm still not too sure. Yakumo's health is getting poor, which is VERY no bueno. |

| This episode and really Konatsu as a character in the state she's in now is so ambiguous, especially surrounding the relationship between her, the mafia boss, Yotarou and the kid she has, but after that powerful rakugo-esque rant by Yotaro towards the mafia boss, standing up for Konatsu and their kid despite not even being clear of the situation and going off gut instinct against someone who could have him and everyone killed and ruined in a heartbeat, it's safe to say that Konatsu really does love him and wants to embrace the idea of having a family with him - even talking to Shin at night talking about how he's hearing daddy's rakugo while Yotarou was practicing. Again, not too much of a fan of the arc conceptually since it doesn't fit that well with this show for me, and the ambiguous nature of it while touching since Yotarou doesn't care about the past and only cares about the future with Konatsu, could also be a bit too unclear since I genuinely have no idea about the intentions she had with the boss. But at least it did show some nice progress with Yotarou's characterization as well as develop Konatsu and Yotarou's relationship a lot more too in the process. |
| I was genuinely very entertained by him confronting the yakuza boss! Also Yotaro revealing his backstory of how he got into prison... things are moving along and that felt like such a short episode. Yakumo is also really showing his age now. |
