| This was such a beautiful episode. I cried as well when Touko cried, as well as at the ending that the crow wasn't alone after all... and Touko agreeing with Natsume at the end, she accepts him completely with so much love. It's such a beautiful episode on so many levels: Shigure and Touko are amazingly kind and lovely human beings, and the crow being not alone even though it seems to be... and Natsume has recovered so much since he met Shigure, Touko, and nyanko-sensei. It's such a touching and beautiful episode. Really love this anime so much- it's a precious jem among anime series. |

| I actually... started bawling like a baby at the end. Very beautiful episode about Touko and Shigeru, they're both such sweeathearts. I wonder if there's a specific reason they didn't have any children of their own or if it was just how things developed. Anyway, they're such wonderful parents. I love hearing ither people's view of Natsume, especially the Fujiwaras. And Natsume was so cute, opening up to them bit by bit. And now... back to my crying |

| After Shigeru heard Natsume's relatives talking about how all Natsume did was say weird stuff, it cuts to the scene where Touko is saying hi to the crow and the school girls laughed at her. Seems like maybe that's what really caught his interest in taking Natsume in. He seemed upset to hear the relatives were saying such things about, but only really reacted after they mentioned how Natsume said weird things. Probably because Touko is the same way, to most people, sincerely saying hi to a crow would be really odd, and Shigeru knows this, but still loves Touko. I think it was that connection which brought them all together :) It's also great to see a couple who are so respectable to each other. Really great episode showing how the Fujiwara took Natsume in. They're such great and understanding people. They were so patient with Natsume, waiting for him to slowly open up to them. I love the part where Touko was so happy that for the first time, Natsume asked them for a favor, which was to keep Nyanko-sensei. And cried at the end just like everyone else here, how Natsume said the crow did have a companion. And given that Touko says "weird things" as well, she doesn't think anything odd about what Natsume said. |
| This episode was Natsume Yuujinchou at its finest. One of the best episodes in the whole series in my opinion. Natsume should be happy that he has such a lovely foster mother. |

| This episode was magnificent. I cried so much, cried, cried. TT__TT Touko and Shigeru's relationship is beautiful and ideally when I am older, I would love to live with my wife as well. Our love will be reciprocal. I felt so much compassion for Touko when she learned that Shigeru wanted to welcome Natsume. Besides, I also appreciated the symbolism with the raven. The OST are splendid, really Yoshimori is a genius. And especially a big thank you to Yuki Midorikawa, the mangaka, and Takahiro Omori and his staff for this series. (^____^) 5/5 |

| This is one of my very favorite series. It is so beautiful but has that sad yet hopeful undertone in the background. When Natsume saw the white crow, I thought Touko-san might think something was up with Natsume, but she reacted just right, like what a great parent does. I wonder if they ever suspected that Natsume could see things not of their world like maybe ghosts or something...if not yokai. I really wish that there will come an episode where Natsume freely tells the Fujiwara's about himself and yokai. I feel like they will understand. They're such model parents and they love him. |

| Well that absolutely destroyed me. This series keeps delivering even after all these years. ;~; Touko and Shigeru are such pure souls. While I don't always like that Natsume keeps all these secrets about himself, I can completely understand his reluctance to tell the Fujiwaras anything. I would like to protect their kindness as much as possible as well. I also love they aren't completely oblivious and judgemental about the fact that Natsume is different than other people. |
| Such a beautiful episode, it made me teary-eyed. I love how it gives a new perspective on how the Fujiwara househould and Natsume's life started to blend together. It's always bothered how long will Natsume keep the youkai a secret to the Fujiwaras but I've come to an understanding why he decides not to and seeing how Touko sees Natsume in this episode further solidifies it. I also love the symbolism of the crow, subtle yet meaningful. No youkai shenanigans this episode and it's such a breath of fresh air. |

| These have to be some of my most favorite episodes, because you see the way that Natsume's relationship with humans has changed after being taken in by the Fujiwaras. Of course I cried like a child by the end. I'm so happy to see this chapter being adapted like this... My heart aches so much ; u ; |

Why would she cut onions? Wasn't that supposed to be either meat or fish? That Touko-san was cooking something horrible. | Goddam why am I so weak towards family episodes. This was my favorite Natsume Yuujinchou episode to date. My kokoro handles a lot of so called 'emotional' animu moments but when it comes to simple stuff like this, I just can't control it. |
