| Why? I've only read the first 9 volumes (I was waiting for 17 to come out), but was the way it ended something that needed a continuation? I'm always up for more Lawrence and Holo but I didn't think it was needed. |

| I don't see why they would do this. The LN ended perfectly. Antanaru said: Yen Press killed translations and Brains Base killed the sequel with its crappy work. Even though I loved the first series I actually feel rather indifferent about the news. It's not like I'll be able to read it and I doubt there will be another season for the anime. Sequel done by the people and the studio from the first season, that would be great news... How did they kill the translations? I'm actually kinda sad if this is true and you got proof since I bought all the Volumes except for the final few that I'm waiting for release. |

| Judging by the announcement, it will be a monthly published content. Which means short stories. That may or may not make something big enough to be published in a volume afterwards. There was that small story included with the spice & wolf artbook that was also happening after the end of volume 17 so that won't be the first short story we'll get. So at worst no new volume,at best probably one volume, similar to the "side colours" volume 1,2,3 and the volume 17. It's just a nice way to thanks the fans for the 10th year anniversary rather than a commercial milking or anything. Rather than really continuing a story that already ended, we may see how those characters are doing in their life after this, similar to volume 17 content. Which is nice in itself. There was a re-release where they produced a bluray version for both seasons that generated another 9k sales in total for both seasons. Not bad sales but not fantastic. | Well a sequel for the novel. Not that it really needed one but to It is still MOST WELCOME. Not have a third made many having to read the Light Novel (including myself) so I would say that the anime did it's job in promoting the LN. I sure hope that its the same illustrator for the sequel and there isn't much change in the setting, characters or even time line. Yes....i love the series as it is in terms of its plot and story telling. So a side story is a good thing but nothing like what happened for Hidan no Aria with double A. |
