| Wonderful stuff. This is nothing like Yona, but <3 red-heads. Something about this anime gives me a nostalgic feeling - the art or mood, for example; I can't really explain it. Just reminds me of anime from the past. |
| I came in with 0 expectations, but the minute I looked up this season's anime I had a feeling this would be the one. A very solid start, the art is gorgeous. I like how pragmatic and cunning Shirayuki is, especially when she used Zen's scabbard to wound herself to prove her merits. Zen's way of thinking..or rather, way of living is certainly noble and intriguing. It makes sense he was building an immunity to poison given his status, although that part where he bit the apple to comfort Shirayuki was great. I didn't think they would resolve this conflict in one episode which makes me all the happier that I have no idea where this adventure plans to unfold. |

| Yes! I've been waiting for this come out for months, when I discovered the manga. Not a disappointment at all, the art and animation is beautiful and smooth. And the voices suit the characters very well(SO glad Shirayuki isn't squeaky-voiced), and it's funny and cute too. X3 Can't wait to see a certain someone too tho, he'll be hilarious. owo Looks like I'll be watching each episode as soon as I can, I have to wait for Hulu to allow commoners to watch. XD Or maybe I should check Funimation.... they're the ones subbing it, huh? It would be so awesome if they would dub it eventually too, they're the absolute best at dubs. Also, I saw that AnS is already scheduled to have a second season,which is great! ^o^ |

| Very first thought: "pretty colors!" Very second thought: "pretty music!" I was afraid it would be a lot like Yona (I liked that one but I don't want to watch a repeat), but it has kept its distance and pretty much the only smilarity is vague setting and the hair. Overall, looks like another good one this season. This and Gangsta are probably my favorites so far. Only complaint I would have would be that it seemed a bit rushed? Anyone else get that? Anyway, hopefully they can keep a solid pace. I have faith in Bones. |

| This was much, much better than I expected. There was actual character development, like... holy shit. Pretty art and good characters, although recognizing 2 of the VAs was a bit durp. |

| I'm really glad this FINALLY got an anime, I've been waiting years. Also yes to the second season. I know it's not going to be exactly like the manga, but is it just me, or does Shirayuki look younger in the anime than the manga? I think it's just the art style, but for some reason it bothers me. I keep thinking that the manga was a much slower pace, but then I went back and read the first couple of chapters and I realize that it really is a fast paced manga. |

| The way the exposition was played out was amazing. Everything about the way the scenery was colored and how they set up the composition screamed a majestic dreamland to me, as befitting of "Snow White." :p The development was certainly many times more smooth and tied in than the manga. |
| My nitpicking so far: Art: I know they can't fully recreate the manga-style in colors, but I miss how much more beautiful the manga is :( The characters don't always resemble themselves :/ Voices: - Shirayuki: REALLY not what I imagined. Though I can't explain the voice that was in my head, as I can't really compare it to a seiyuu. I like Hayami Saori's voice a lot, but I don't think it fits Shirayuki's personality. At least she should have gotten a bit younger voice. But who knows, maybe it will grow on me :) - Zen: I guess I can live with it, but I think the perfect voice for him would have been Ishikawa Kaito (e.g. Ledo from Suisei no Gargantia, Kageyama from Haikyuu). I was reading it in his voice from the very beginning :D - Raji is spot on. He is great. - Mitsuhide: Not what I imagined, but okay. He should have gotten a bit more mature voice. - Kiki: No problems, she is good. |

| Not many would do what Shirayuki did. That is hurt themselves to prove a point. In this case, Shirayuki hurts herself to prove to Zen that her medicine is not poisoned. I like her name as well. Shirayuki Pince Raj got owned by Zen and Shirayuki. I only began watching this show due to hype it was getting. So far it's been good, the environment of the show is quite refreshing. |

| Very nice, reminds me of all the princess stories.. I like that Shirayuki isn't the ordinary damsel in distress however, but is brave herself. I like her seiyuu a lot too. The voice gives Shirayuki great tone, unlike many squeaky-voiced characters. Man, the prince is annoying >.> |

| Shoujo has pretty decent scenery to the eyes. Hahaha I've put the manga on hold for so long the anime came out already. Not a bad start.. the characters are likable.. I'll be enjoying this. Ahh.. I'm glad this has a sequel unlike Soredemo Sekai. |

| It was all right. It's not as similar to Akatsuki no Yona as I was expecting, so that's good. The setting is nice and Shirayuki is already likeable. Zen, on the other hand, appears to be a carbon shoujo male protagonist. I do hope that changes. |

Maybe he doesn't have a good of a nose as Shirayuki to sense the abnormality of the apple? It's not like he studied poisons and knows what kind of smell it makes. I read the chapter again and all he knew was that the apples were from Tanbarun (Which probably has a stable relationship with Clarines). He did not know about the relationship between Shirayuki or Prince Raji. No one would really assume the apples were poisoned nor would anyone probably attempt to think that A PRINCE would go that far to poison an apple. |

| The beginning is really nice, I would not say too much to say that it was love at first sight, but we close. Studio Bones does not disprove the expectations that I put in it, beautiful designs and animations, also good scenery. The characters are cute, Shirayuki is already one of my favorites. |

| Kinda good episode, and the art is very nice. I love the colours the most. The opening episode was very rushed, since I hoped to see more before she cut her hair. And I personally don't like her hair colour since it isn't a beautiful red. Morelike magenta or something. |

| I had this on my watch list for quite till someone actually said to me that it was awesome so I started it. And when I saw Shirayuki I was instantly in love. So beatiful damn. Anyways really nice episode. |

| Love Bones' animation. Zen's "I'm not a dwarf" part had me laughing. So where doe the story go on from here? Snow White is a pretty short story in itself. Is Shirayuki just Clarines' royal herbalist or something from now on? |

| Man, this is just really, really sappy and cliche, and I was actually laughing at how dumb some of the lines were (unsure if that was intentional or not)... but it's good. The show looks very nice and colorful, and the animation is really good, some of the most fluid I've ever seen from an anime. We'll see how this goes. 4/5 |

| Excellent first episode. I was already sold in the first scene, by the visuals and the narration courtesy of Hayami Saori. Colorful forest scenery, and we're shown just how much our protagonist loves what she does for a living, complete with an adorable leap on the way to town. Shirayuki is like a younger version of Claire from Outlander, minus the time-traveling aspect. Not just because they're both healers, but because they both have to struggle to retain their agency and freedom in a place and time where it sucks to be a woman, or just sucks more than it does now, depending on who you ask. What seems to be different so far, is that Zen's kingdom is implied to be better in this aspect, or maybe it's just Zen who is an oddly open-minded ouji. This seems like a fairy tale so far, and if you're gonna do a fairy tale, you might as well stick to your guns, using castles, sword fights and a dashing prince. The central theme seems to be freedom and fate, the latter of which is a staple of Disney stories. In fact, it was Zen's remark that compared her hair to the red string of fate that evoked newfound respect in Shirayuki, regarding the prince. The question is, what will Shirayuki do with her new life? |
