| In my OP its HunterxHunter 2011, the first episode looked so generic. Unlike what the 1999 version did, it failed to introduce us to the hunter world by skipping the first meeting between Gon and Kite; which was a significant point of what made gon to decide to become a hunter. |

As for the zombie aspect, most of the scenes happen in flashbacks while the cast is currently living the ez life. Even Highschool of the Dead makes a better zombie show than this. |

Even in first episode it was foreshadowed by showing witch world that it is not going to be normal magical girl show, compare that with something like Narutaru and you can get why people aren't saying madoka. As for Gakougurashi, I dropped it after the few starting episodes. I expected it to be another corpse party gore blood kill the loli show, though I can't say the way you are describing later episodes sounds any better. |
