| So in the end Kaiki was able to complete the mission but not able to leave the town seems they have some insane brats in that city guess the police needs to do a little more in that town. As for this ending it wasn't bad Araragi showing up at the end was nice, it was a good learning moment for Araragi in growing up, Araragi needs to learn he can't solve everything. And that happiness is something a person needs to find for themselves. |

| This Ougi is almost like a split personality of Gaen. Everything they did was the opposite of each other. Oh well I guess we won't really know until the novel is finished. By far the best Monogatari season. I enjoyed every arc especially Mayoi's and Kaiki's. Definitely 10/10. |

| Oh my god. FUCK. I was so excited when Kaiki man the fuck up vs Nadeko. He really did well with his words. As expected of him. BUT WHY DOES HE NEED TO DIE?! WHY? Holy shit. Didn't really see that coming. I thought Oshino would show up and save him but sigh.. Come to think of it, if Gaen knows everything then why did she not somehow save Kaiki? Koyomi was soooooo useless. Damn. I hope Ougi pays for her insolence in the future. I'm guessing Oshino is not showing up because he is preparing on taking down Ougi. 10/10 can't wait for the next monogatari. By the way, great voice acting by Miki. |
| and then: finished I can only say that for me was the best anime of the year expected a little more animation and movement in the last episode but I liked the behavior Kaiki this epi, instead of deceiving Nadeko he convinced progress was very good of the anime only missed the opening, and a soundtrack to shut well the story is not yet over, hopefully looking forward to continue seeing next year Araragui and ended up appearing in this last arc, but were still mysteries left I think it is hard not to give 10/10 now is to continue watching as the story will continue .. ______________ e então: terminou só posso dizer que para eu foi o melhor anime do ano esperava um pouco mais de animação e movimento no ultimo episodio mas gostei do comportamento de Kaiki neste epi, ao invés de enganar Nadeko ele a convenceu foi muito bom o andamento do anime só senti falta da abertura, e de uma trilha sonora pra encerrar bem a historia ainda nao acaba, espero ansioso para continuar vendo ano que vem e Araragui acabou aparecendo neste ultimo arco, mas misterios ainda foram deixados acho que não tem como não dar 10/10 agora é continuar acompanhando como a historia vai continuar .. |

Then, hand through the mouth and walking in the snow. Then, talk on the phone, then hit on the head. Dead. I don't even know what I'm watching now. It's like I'm stuck in a looping tracks of thoughts that symbolizes nothing but confusion and words play. ... Okay, you guys know what? Fuck it, this anime is amazing. |

| I-It's over?! It really doesn't feel like it. This has been a good season, even if the more intense scenes have been rather dull. And the previous arc was extremely boring. Still, it was nice to have Monogatari back in form. 8/10 |

| WTF!? He really died!? I would never believe that! Anyway, like someone said, this isn't very conclusive. Well I heard that there'll be an another season but I wonder if I'll watch that because this series is underwhelming to me. And I'm curious about Oshino's whereabouts. |

| This season was amazing. I was really attached to it. I will miss Hachikuji and Kaiki made an excellent job. 10/10 for me. |
| It was such a good ending! NOT!! Oh Kaiki, our hidden badass guy, beaten by a junior high kid. However, Anyway, I totally didn't expect the manga manuscripts to be in that closet. Really well done by Nisio Isin. Araragi somehow looks prrety mature after six months. Although, the part when Kaiki was trapped in the sea of snakes, and Nadeko was beating him. I feel it was lacking something. The animation maybe? Everything leading up to this final episode was really great, but the final episode itself doesn't seem to match up to the quality of the previous ones. Kaki owning Araragi was pretty cool. Either way, a series I definitely enjoy watching, and craving for more. 9/10 PS: DAMN YOU OUGIi!! |

| The second season started weak, but it got better and better with every new episode, this last arc was simply splendid. On a side note, Kaiki's speech about irreplaceable things was really sad if you consider his past. 5/5 9.6/10 |

This first half could easily be fixed with just some more dramatic angle shots like this. 11 minutes later, that's my SHAFT. What emotion. Hitagi End. Money really is a valuable thing. We've finally reached the safety zone. R.I.P. Tezuka. Toad>Slug>Snake. Wonderful wordplay. There's more to life than Araragi. Nadeko found her individuality. And that is being 100% awesome. Where's a lead pipe when you need it? Oh, hey, Araragi. Love how the piano version of the OP starts playing here. Monogatatrees are so pretty. Yo dawg, I heard you like deception… One last dose of deception. Dat reverse psychology. Gaen knows everything. There will be blood. Guess who's back? Oh, Hanekawa was worried about Ougi having a hand in Kaiki's fate. You magnificent bastard. Visually, the first half of this episode is far from perfect, but I think it did bounce back after the halfway mark and narratively, it did everything I wanted it to do. Okay, maybe I didn't exactly want Kaiki to get beat upside the head with a lead pipe twice lol, but it provided a memorable ending. Would be funny if what was in the closet was foreshadowed at the end of episode 14, but it's probably just really convenient wording. That aside, I think the retro manga references, Nadeko illustrated as a manga drawing right before Tsukihi cuts off her bangs to expose her and this arc's OP definitely hint at it. While a little more Senjougahara screen time would've been more than welcome, this season has already surpassed Bakemonogatari in my eyes with how it's elevated characters to new heights (specifically ones I never cared too much for like Hanekawa and Nadeko) and the arcs (which offer a change of pace in not always having Araragi as the narrator) fit in a more interwoven storyline that actually reduces the harem to a love triangle. I think the consequences of pretending to be something you're not were demonstrated very well throughout this season (with Kaiki's arc being the culmination of it all: "Nothing good ever comes from acting unlike yourself") and this kind of ties in with the fakeness of Nisemonogatari. If I had to name a low point, it would have to be the recaps. They felt a little unnecessary, but they weren't pointless imo. Summary one used Neko Black to remind us of the embracing acceptance of one's unfortunate qualities in Tsubasa Tiger, which is also reflected through Shinobu and her alternate self in Mayoi Jiangshi. Summary Two used Hitagi Crab, Mayoi Snail, Suruga Monkey and Nadeko Snake to lead into the victim complex and grudging jealousy of Nadeko Medusa. Summary Three used Karen Bee and Tsukihi Phoenix to lead into the deceptive facades of Shinobu Time and Hitagi End. I'm aware that the main purpose of the recaps were to give SHAFT more production time for the Second Season arcs, but they also make it more obvious that NisiOisiN has placed several characters in similar situations that indicate how this season would progress and help connect the dots of the franchise in a wonderful way. Hopefully, SHAFT puts the MSSS and Rebellion sales to good use and finally puts out Kizumonogatari. But probably not lol. 10/10 Also, just realized than Shinichiro Miki not only voiced Kaiki, but also Knov from Hunter x Hunter (2011) and Sawamura from Hajime no Ippo: Rising as well. Top notch performances, back to back to back? O_O I am not worthy. On another note, can any light novel readers tell me how they like the Final Season installments so far in comparison? |

| Holy crap that ending was great!!! Kaiki!!! Ahh i cannot wait for Hana~ to start airing. I'm glad Araragi made an appearance before the end. Does he ever find out about Senjougahara's involvement in all this i wonder...? I enjoyed this season more than Nise (fanservice isn't really my thing) but Bake is still the best. I'd give this a 9/10 but i loved every second of this last ep so i'm giving it a 10. I know some people think animating the whole LN series is overkill but if they keep the quality to this standard, why should you care? Bring on season 3 :) |

| Dang just when I was starting to like Kaiki he dies... Just noticed it think he's the first character in the anime that I've seen die. But when Kaiki mentioned the Manga Artist thing, I lost it and just started laughing so hard. Anyways, can't wait for a hopeful sequel to find out who ougi really is RIP Kaiki |

| Wow, I didn't see that ending. Pretty shocking. How it cuts off just like that... Did he really die? If that isn't a cliffhanger, then I'm lost here. Can't say I disliked it though, since it had impact and kept me wanting for more. So Ougi is the main antagonist now? She did seemed pretty shady from the get-go. Maybe the reason her "uncle" is not around also due to her. |
