I really liked the connection between Akari and Hikari though even if it was for a brief moment. Dat marriage vow. The kids were also more emotional than I had thought. |

| Good episode. It's definitely the calm before the storm with the way Hikari was narrating at the start of the ep. Chisaki's parents hearing the confession was lol. Nothing progressed with that but I'm sure it'll have some effect later on. Akari and Hikari's moments were nice. Hikari is just getting better and better :D It felt good seeing the adults bow to him XD Quite the weird wedding that will be from what Akari planned hehe. Miuna is cute as usual <3 Chisaki will make her move now. But from the pv looks like things get tense. Even Kaname is making that face O_o?...And who was Hikari telling "I won't see u again" to?? |

| Woah, Miuna, those were some big-ass tears there The awkwardness and tense air has started to wear off a bit, relationship wise. Hikari begging Uroko-sama to save the land dwellers was touching. That ending was a really cheeky cliffhanger and oh boy the preview seems to be packed with drama and hopefully resolutions. I guess the success of the Ofunehiki determines the fate of the characters, to time skip or not to time skip, that is the question. It would be such a twist, if this Ofunehiki fused with wedding becomes serious by accident and the Sea God actually accepts Akari as a sacrifice. Just saying. |

| Still can't get over how much Hikari has grown since the beginning, I have so much love for him. Even though the Ofunehiki shouldn't in theory change anything according to Uroko-sama, everyone is still willing to go through with it, and with mainly Hikari being in charge. I'm glad that even the stubborn men realized that they were too quick to be angered in the last meeting, and bowed their heads to ask Hikari for help. It always takes something serious like this to happen for people to push aside their emotions. But wow, seems like everyone's confessing left and right now :P okay not everyone, but it makes sense with the upcoming crisis. Kaname's confession was cute. Although by the end of the episode, the group stopped being so awkward with each other, I wonder how next episode will be like. Seems like it will be an episode high on emotions :o |
| I loved how Chisaki's parents reacted to Kaname's confession. Especially her dad's reaction lol Itaru and Akari's little marriage agreement was cute. Another nice episode with the sea and the surface working together. I like that they're still going through with the plan even after hearing that it wouldn't do anything. Really anxious to see how Chisaki's confession to Hikari works out. Hope no one gets hurt too badly. |

| Kaname is calm , he doesn't expect anything that's how confession works. Episode was smooth and calm. The Surface people is going to cooperate with the Shishio , that's nice but then Uroko-sama spoiled the mood lol. I know that it's not going to change anything but then Akari said that she wanted to be the Ojoshi-sama as a sacrifice , I bet things will change here. Anyway , omg they animated Miuna's tears terribly , that was like exaggerated lol. Chisaki is going to confess to Hikari , welp that's good. The PV looks intense owo >Kaname dissapointed >Manaka crying >Hikari confessing ? Next week is going to be intense. 5/5 |

| Wow, I loved Akari before, but now I just love her more. I'm really excited now for the event and I just know she's going to look gorgeous. Super excited for the wedding part, too. Ahhh~! Not surprised on Kaname's behalf, though. I didn't expect him to ask for a reply back, but I'm a nervous for next week's episode. In the PV, he seemed a bit upset, I wonder if it has something to do with Chisaki planning to confess? Looks like Manaka and Hikari are starting to get back to their regular selves, so hopefully things start looking up for everyone. :3 Really anxious for the next episode! I think next week's going to be another good one! |

| Well, it's a matter of time before the sea villagers go on to hibernation. Though I like the cooperation between the surface people and Hikari's friends by making the Ofunehiki mirriage scenes for Akari. Hope that it work things out for them. Now Chisaki, you still have a chance to confess to Hikari :D. Akira and Hikari in this episode had such great development in her as they will do there own way and take care of themselves. When I saw the PV for next episode, looks like something bad is going to happen... |

| Man, why is Tsumugu still in this show? I thought it was kind of odd that after Kaname confessed to Chisaki, she decided to confess to Hikari. Isn't she really breaking the friendship here? I understand that she wants to get her feelings out, but shouldn't she consider the consequences now that Kaname has told her how he felt? Edit: Also, time skip is all but certain now. Noticed how Hikari was referring to Kaname and Chisaki's thing as past tense ("looking back"). Can't wait to see the final character designs. |
| The calm before the snow storm. I pity the one who drop this early because of Hikari attitude. Look at how much he have grown. He become the best character in this series. Before the time skip (which I think cannot be avoided) look like everyone will make clear of their feeling to each other. I wonder who will hurt the most next episode. |

Does that mean that both disasters will happen to fall on both places? Second, What Does Hikari meant when he said "He wants to save the surface"? I don't really understand that though. |

The answers to your first and second question combined is that if the calamity of salt snowflakes continues, the whole world, both sea and land will undergo an ice age period, where everything will be frozen. The sea people have Ena which they can thicken to withstand extreme cold conditions, and that is why they had a party to store as much as food as they can. They will later go into a state of hibernation until the Ice Age passes by. When they will actually wake up is good as anyone's guess but with this they have a higher survival rate. The land people on the other hand have no countermeasure against this calamity, slowly but surely they will die since their bodies can't adapt to the severe cold climate, thus ending the whole land race forever. The land people's source of food will deplete, like the fishes and their crops will also be frozen and die. When the whole Ice Age is done and ever, the world will only have Sea People, the Land People will become an extinct race. That is why Hikari is doing the Ofunehiki in hopes that it will please the Sea God and save the Land dwellers, Akari, Tsumugu and basically everybody. |
