| The end to an incredibly solid arc. The fight scenes were great and, more importantly, the characters were developed a great deal. I'm pretty much sold on this show at this point, aside from a few things I disliked. |

| Very good arc. Typical shounen show but it's still good. It would of been the best ever if romance ever developed in this arc. The character development is just too great, I was expecting romance. |

| It was a solid ark, but rather long, don't you think? It was getting kind of irritating how after every fighting move they would pan to the spectators and go through their reactions. They could have easily cut out 2-3 episodes without sacrificing any story or character development just from taking out crud like that. Yeah, I guess you don't get 400+ episodes out without doing that stuff... |

| Wow this was a long arc but I loved the ending, Luffy is such a good guy... he only fights to protect/help his friends, at least till now :) I love the fact he'll get a (hopefully high) bounty, he totally deserves it ^^ |

| After a really, really long arc... we're finally done. Phew. Kind of got repetitive with Arlong, but undoubtedly this is my favorite arc thus far--had some fantastic moments with Luffy, especially when he was standing on top of the rubble. |

| I wonder what's gonna happen now? Also, one thing I've been wondering throughout the series.. If they don't kill the bad guy or have them arrested, won't they come back and cause trouble again???? They never show what happens. They just knock the bad guy(s) out and leave them there. |

| Good ending? Go to next ep!! I want the next arc already!! Was it just me or... Was it just too easy for Marine to make some wanted poster (of pirates)? I mean who'll believe what Rat-Marine said just like that? There's no real proof Well, I know "Shounen" Real logics can't be applied |

| Did Zoro stitch up his chest by himself? I think I remember in the other episode his chest having a big gaping wound there. Anyway, this was a nice ending to the arc. The fight lasted a little longer than I would have liked, but at least we got some character development out of it. Excited to see where the crew goes from here. ^_^ |

| What a phenomenal arc, definitely top 3 shounen arcs, perhaps my all time favorite right now. I think the lines of Arlongs made it incredibly clear the main premise of Arlong was and what makes him in the wrong was his mindset to use people. "She'll stay here drawing charts for my ambition", and as Luffy pointed out "Could you use that girl as efficiently as this?". Finally, to make his as blunt as possible(which I'd expressed multiple times my dislike for, but this time it was alright), "She'll forever be my tool, no... my friend". If you really want to break it down this was a fight about using people for your gain, and working together for a mutual gain, or in another sense friendship over self gain. If you compare Luffy's crew of pirates all out on a journey together for their own ambitions, and Arlong's view of using others it also makes it very clear. And, being One Piece, the side that won the ideological battle is clear. "NAMI!!! YOU'RE MY FRIEND!" I thought the scene where Luffy was smashing the room was masterful. The way only Nami knew what was happening and started to tear up, and the way that all the bystanders were watching, not the fight, but the building break and guessing what was going on. It was intense! I loved the moment where everything went silent because Arlong grabbed Luffy and everyone watched in silence, scared and curious on what happened. I'm really curious how the straw hats being wanted will effect the story. And I must say, I found the stomp to knock out Arlong as somewhat anti-climactic. I'm not upset, and I still loved this episode, but it felt kind of like the Klahadore arc where Jango and Klahadore got one shot after so much build up, but at least it wasn't that bad. I mean, Luffy did snap his nose. |

| One can see the destruction of the map room as 8 years of work going down the drain but for Nami, it's 8 years of pain and struggle finally being lifted from her shoulders. Never again will she draw a map out of fear for her life because through Luffy, she'll utilize her own talents and follow her passion on the pace she's comfortable in. Arlong got decimated and the island's free! It looks like Nami will be getting her 90+ million Beli back too. One of my favorite anime shirts was actually Luffy's wanted poster plastered over each other so it's cool to see its origins. |

| So the battle ends. Fishman Arlong took a lot time I say. Arlong should have knew that never make a Strawhat Pirate angry especially Luffy. Neither he got 100 million berries nor a chance to live. He got beaten well also. Luffy destroyed him and his pride with the Arlong park. This Marin commander Nezumi was cheap. that guy thought he can now take the village as there is no fishman alive. Zorro alone took care of them. I liked how Nami took revenge. So thanks to Marin commander Nezumi Luffy is now officially a pirate and not a little one. He is having a huge bounty. Finally he got what he should have from the start. |
