| Great arc, really makes me nostalgic to when I was reading this in the manga. Enjoyed seeing the Sannin's past animated, the Amegakure orphans animated. And EVERY chance I get to see the 4th I'm happy. The next series of eps is going to be HUGE! I might wait til it's complete and watch it all in one go. |

Hope the main eps were like that too T__T We rly got a lot of info from this ep ^_^ Minato being Naruto's father (already known from a spoiler I heard before, thnx to certain someone >_>) When I saw Nagato's eyes I was sure he was----[I think this might be considered spoiler to those who didn't notice...] even Konan, too! can't wait for the next special T__T, it's gonna be rly interesting!! n rofl, tho everyone has his opinion, but rly a 1/5?? if this ep is a 1/5 then what has most of the previous eps been? 5/5 ep! Edit: almost forgot one of the moments that made me rofl, Jiraiya calling Tsunade "flat-chested chopping board" when he was tied to the log. haha, that was funny. |

I would have been surprised if someone hadn't already ruined it for me. I guessed that was the case long ago but now the answer is revealed. It would have been an "OMG I was right" moment. But instead I got the yeah, I knew that already. *sigh* NOT EVERYONE READS THE MANGA, PEOPLE! Sorry for the rant. I liked this episode for the things it revealed even though I'm not a fan of Jiraiya's so episodes involving him tend to bore me. |

| Hmmmmm, maybe nagato and yuki somehow became one. kind of like how kakashi got his sharingan. since nagato's hair isn't orange but pain's is kind of like yuki but he has the rinnengan |
| Really good couple of episodes. I liked the end there when Tsunade said that humans weren't immortal and Orochimaru said 'I wonder' and walked away, so cool :D |

XD Otherwise I was going to start thinking that Pain was Yahiko, and that he killed Nagato to get Nagato's eyes or something... But if this is the case, then it's just that Nagato is Pain and Konan is in Akatsuki with him. So where did Yahiko go? D: Guess we'll find out soon enough? Someone spoiled for me, years ago, that the fourth Hokage was Naruto's dad, so it didn't come as a surprise to me... I am wondering what happened to his mom, Kushina, though. And why did Naruto take on his mother's last name? Did those around him make it that way so people wouldn't draw a connection between Naruto and the Fourth? D: Oh, yeah anyway. Great episode! Really enjoyed it and all the things it revealed~ |

| Saw naruto's dad coming, but I had no idea jiraya was the reason he was named Naruto! and he came up with it while eating ramen haha. Loved seeing the sanin's history, and that jiraya taught some of the Atatsuki members! that was a complete shocker, can't wait to see their encounter :) |
| i find it pretty amusing that the lead's name came from jiraya eating ramen and the title of this anime is based off the leads name XD. definitely some good openers on the back stories of others in this special, especially jiraya's, i found his to be particularly interesting with the whole toad sage thing. |
| I'm interested about Pain for sure. It's pretty obvious now that Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan have something to do with Akatsuki. In fact, Pain looks a lot like Yahiko but with Nagato's eyes. I'm curious as to what is up with this. It's obvious that at least Konan didn't die as she is with Pain. Really good arc, as it incorporated so many different plot elements like the Senin, Jiraiya's past, how Naruto got his name, and a bit about his parents, and of course those three kids. I'm going to say this now, but I wouldn't be surprised if Orochimaru comes back into the picture again way down the line. Don't know how, though. But, I couldn't help but think that when he was leaving the Senin towards the end. |

| I had suspicions about the 4th Hokage being Naruto's father from episode one of the original series haha. So I was like " YESSSS!!" Minato is great btw. I really like him, and I hope we get to see more of him |
| I cried the first time Minato appeared, as I still do everytime he appears on screen, but seeing Kushina was too much. I'm getting desydrated. This is devastating, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN SO GOOD PARENTS TO NARUTO! P.S. I began to cry again as I wrote Kushina's part. |

| Very interesting that Jiraiya trained some of the akatsuki members! I wonder if the elder toad was talking about naruto or the soon to be akatsuki child that he trained. I wonder if they faked their deaths. I completely relate to orochimaru and how he wanted to learn and master everything in the world during his life. I want to do the same, but with our world's esoteric knowledge. If only ninjutsu was real, I'd totally to down to try to learn it all haha. Orochimaru is definitely right abut hate only breeds more hate. This show is always dropping smalls bombs of wisdom, and I think that's what really makes this show special and a masterpiece. And awwww, so that's how Naruto got his name. Definitely intertwined destinies from the very start. Beautiful. I think it would have been cool if the very first episode of the entire show had originally started in this part of the past, and we watch the war and drama and orochimaru's craziness unfold, and tHEN jump into naruto's part of the story and watch his generation's adventures and struggles unfold. |

| Woah has Yahiko become kid Pain? The Akatsuki leader? I feel like Yahiko and Konan survived while Nagato was somehow killed and Yahiko got Nagato's Rinnegan just like Obito transplanted his Sharingan to Kakashi. And now he's seeking revenge but toppling the 5 great nations through Akatsuki. Aye Naruto's parents are revealed! Kushina and Minato (whom I believe is the 4th Hokage) Also wow Jiraiya is Naruto's godfather! |
