| So the truth comes out, Kakashi killed rin. and obito finally awakens his mangekyo sharingen. hmm My expectations for this episode were just to high so i was a bit let down on some of the animation given that this episode was directed by the same guy that directed the madara episode i was expecting something just out of this world. The fights with the mist shinobi were pretty cool and they did add alot of blood, but for some reason i remember the manga being even more bloodier and darker and in my opinion they could of used a different sound track to depict this scenario. Especially when rin was pierced by kakashi. Though it was still a good episode, the anime viewers will definitely find that as shocking. Believe it or not, the whole part at the beginning with the bathroom jokes were from the manga, i don't know what the hell was going through kishimoto's mind when he wrote that. But i think the anime even added more dialogue to extend it lol Can't wait for the double episode next week. Manga comparisons for those who want to check it out. Especially the last few pages where all the heads from the shinobi's were stuck to the tree's at the end, that part was gruesome. http://www.mangapanda.com/naruto/605/17 |

| Awesome, been waiting for this chapter to be animated for so long! Finally a decent episode. And I feel bad for obito, damn it I hate feeling bad for bad ppls. When I was reading the manga I didn't give a damn about obito, but when I rewatched the Kakashi Chronicles arc, then watched this and the recent episodes, I can't help but feel terrible for him. His life is just a bunch of things gone wrong. And he's probably still a virgin :( On another note, I can't wait to play through this scene in the next Naruto Storm game lol. The game does a better job than the anime at depicting fight scenes sometimes. |

The sound was so ominous, and the special effects, and Rin's facial expression... jesus christ nearly had a heart attack. Another chapter that sparked so many theories in the manga, why Kakashi killed rin. Was it a clone?, was obito in a genjutsu and what he was seeing was not real? Did madara plan the whole thing?, etc etc etc I was surprised as fck when i read the chapter, just how can Kakashi kill rin? It makes no sense what so ever. |

| I'm in loss for words. Fucking EPIC. It shook me to my core. I teared up and almost cried. Everything was top notch I couldn't have asked for anything else. I absolutely loved it. Thank you Kishimoto and Thank you Studio Pierrot. That scene where Kakashi pierced Rin and Obito's reaction...My God. A lot of scenes were just amazing like when both Kakashi and Obito awakened their Mangekyo. This was my first time seeing and hearing the ED because I wanted to avoid the spoilers . I watched it in this episode.. Beautiful and fits really well. Masterpiece/5 |

I watched Naruto before HxH so I was the whole time think of Naruto when I was watching the 99 adaption, funny how voices stick with one character. However I wished that Naruto would get a new VA for shippuuden, he shouldn't sound the same as when he was 12/13 years old imo. |

| Man, this is what I call a Naruto episode! It's catching up pretty quick, no? It feels just like yesterday (perhaps a few months ago?) that I was spoiled that Kakashi kills Rin. This particular episode is definitely worth watching again. 10/10. Can't wait to see what happens next episode :) |

| Obito really resembled a black Naruto while he was recovering It's was nice to see how he got along with the white Zetsu's who were obsessed with poo, while Naruto just fart Obito raging when he arrived late was really sad to see He probably killed all of them and the green Zetsu was born this was RIP Rin, she had to die by Kakashi's in order not to get into the hands of the Mist Ninja's So heartwrenching... |

| Obito going berserk and that rampage was simply epic. I was in awe throughout that whole entire scene. Did they ever tell us before how Rin even died? I didn't expect Kakashi was the one who killed her. From the looks of it he was protecting the leaf from the mist getting valuable intel off of Rin. Whatever that might be. |

| It feels good to finally see one of the darkest chapters of Naruto in full animation... although they did a lot of dark overtones that the things we see is almost pure black. Dang censorship. This is one of the most shocking chapters of Naruto. Kakashi killed Rin. Probably shook a lot of anime watchers that hasn't been spoiled. It was also great to see the truth on how Kakashi and Obito awakened their Mangekyo. |
