DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So the crew finally got back to the surface :) Thought it was Laboon for a second but just whales like him ^.^ What could be next ? | A classic travelling adventure, I like those the most right after the exploring chapters in the beginning of each arc and the transition chapters after each mayor arc. The weather in their place of resurfacing is similar to the weather on the island where Urouge met the old woman with the umbrella. Interesting. And a preemptive advice to all the complaints we will get about this chapter: If you don't like this, One Piece is not the right manga for you. |

Nami was hot, and lol at brook and sanji peeping. loved how sanji said "check if every one is here, Nami, check...Robin, check... ok everyone's present" that made me laugh a lot. Zoro really became way stronger, he can do 360 pound with one sword...man I wonder how strong 3 swords would be. And finally loved everyones reaction to NW's sea, but it wasn't really clear, well, we'll have to wait for it to get animated. |

It might be arrogant, but it's hard to call a OP chapter bad because "nothing happened". The whole theme is adventure, so as long we see and/or hear something new or dazzling, the chapter has done its job. Here, we heard about the Whitestrom, experienced it firsthand, saw a bit more of Nami's practical uses of her power, and even met some whales & had a Brook moment! So, great if you like OP for its action, but don't expect total camaraderie if you say a chapter was boring because "nothing happened" or there wasn't any fighting. EDIT: I wonder if Oda will show how some whales end up getting their scars. I'd only expect a cover picture if not a SBS response, but just curious. :) |

| I hope I wasn't the only one who searched up Bink's Sake on youtube to go along with the scene? This is the "heart" of One Piece. ADVENTURE. Pirates and whales singing along, adventures up in the sky or in the deep sea, Nami showering, trying to catch the biggest fish known to mankind just to eat it, unreal situations, funny facial expressions, screen time for EACH and EVERY member and smiling at the most critical situations. Fuck, I love One Piece. Back to the #1 manga it goes. P.S. 360 Pound with one hand? Oh man. |

| I'm slightly disappointed that Robin didn't join Nami in the shower, but I'll deal. The comedy was gold in this chapter. Funniest chapter in a long time actually. Sanji absolutely killed me. And getting a look at Laboon's relatives was neat. It's pretty amazing when you think back and remember that Luffy's encounter with Laboon was hundreds of chapters ago; then, later, we find out about the whale's connection to Brook, and here we're yet again reminded of Laboon. Oda doesn't miss a beat. He never forgets anything. |

| One Piece has the best transitions between arcs. No real dead spot. Sure nothing happend this chapter but it reminded everyone who forgot one of the main reason for them to make it back around to the other side plus Brookes main reason for being with the straw hats. |
