| What a creepy finale, with that pretty woman actually being a praying mantis. Not entirely sure what the point of the detective was, but whatever.... Seasons 2-4 really weren't that good, but this season was a bit better, so that's nice. |

| More questions than answers. That's the way it is. Not a bad finale though. If there's a 6th season then if it could just expand the lore this show is creating that'd be great. |

| This was okay. A bit creepy and I enjoyed the horror element to it. This season had a few good episodes actually! |
| I guess it's fair to say that this season has improved a lot compared to season 3 and 4. Maybe on par with season 2. Confusing ending, but whatever. The horror is a bit meh for my taste. |

| if you a bit inteligent, if you read the neon named bar, it will be easy to know how end.... that you don´t know how is the bar named, is the "Mantis Bar"!!!! Now? The music remenber me to the mythical series named "third dimension" kekeke Bye, bye to this irregular season, but alwasy intereresting ;) |
| Fun fact, female praying mantis will eat the males head first while mating. The girl here was horny and hungry, which is a bad combo if you're a mantis. The ending was okay, but I thought this season was great. Definitely reminiscent of season one, which is a good thing. I don't know if I liked it because the stories were good or because the last few seasons were just bad. Either way I enjoyed it. |

| Not a fan of yet another installment of Yami Shibai. I love the format but the writing felt a little forced, seems like they've ran out of idea/creativitiy that they would resort to the cliche feels grab, even though it was a good episode, that episode 10 was. Jump scare isn't.. horror. |

| This episode got some traces of plot... Looks like there will be other seasons in the future. Loved this finale, but this season is a 4. |

| I love Yamishibai series. I think season was good. It revolved mostly around female characters but wasn't that scary. The ending song was pretty dark and cool. |
| This season actually wasn't that bad, especially compared to a lot of the other seasons. This last episode was interesting. So the Storyteller actually like saved the detective from the usual fate. It kinda makes you wonder about him. Like, I kinda thought of him as a mysterious being who just watches and tells from afar, but this shows that he'll go into the darkness and is maybe meaning to warn people of it as well. |
| Best season since 1, but I don't think I'd put it over 2 by that large of a margin, the only episodes I really liked this season were The Crow Children, Copycat, Hide-and-Seek, and Flower Reading, while the rest were either just meh or outright terrible (the hair one , and the first one of the season). So it only makes sense that I give it the same score as 2, 4/10. A little upsetting that it didn't find a way to be worse than last season, just because every season has gotten progressively worse until this point, and I would've liked another 1 score on my list. Also, best ED in the series yet, imo. The finale itself is meh, might've been outright terrible if it wasn't for the unique framing of the episode, with the Storyteller and the detective dude. I'm not sure what to make of that really, I think he saved him? I don't know, weird that they'd incorporate him again after his origin story of season 3, I'm sure there'll be a sixth season since Yami Shibai seems eternal so maybe we'll get a clearer insight then. |
| I guess he got what he wanted at the end, but not what he needed from her. Funny that she turned into a praying mantis, so it wasn't scary at all. Overall these were scary and better than the over narrated season 4. 6/10 |

| I love this series, I just wish they would expand more on the world. At this point, it's more of an anthology than a series but I do want to know a little more about the story teller (not so much it ruins the mystery though. |

| I thought she mugged them or smth but then again this is yami shibai lol. Anyone can be any kind of monster. Even though she was a monster, she did really like all the men she chose. It wasn't just because she wanted to eat them. Irl, female mantises eat their mate after having sex so that the nutrients she gets from his body can be used to nurture the young ones. This season was way better then the 4th season. Tbh this has been the best season/part since the first one. 6/10 for me. |

| I think that narrator guy save that guy who tried to solve the mystery of seductive woman because he was not meant to be in the story. After all narrator guy tells all of the stories. Best episode of season 5 |

| Well, this season was an improvement compared to the last one, but despite that it does not compare to the first season, still to say that for a series of 4 min duration, it is relatively good overall. |

| Note to self, never enter a bar called “Mantis Bar” lol, a shame too because she was pretty hot. And the ending was interesting, so did the storyteller intervene and save the detective? Makes me wonder if he wasn’t meant to die in that story or something, cool little way to end the final episode tho. And that was Season 5, and I think I can safely say this is my 2nd favorite season after Season 1, I’m by no means a hater of the previous seasons after the first like some but this season’s episodes just hit better with me for the most part, my favorites this time around include “The Crow Children”, “Giveback-sama”, “Hide-and-Seek”, “The Neighbors”, and “Flower Reading”. I also thought the intro this season was the best so far too, mainly for the creepy music. And this season’s ED was also very nice and fitting for the show, kinda left a bit of spook with me after finishing an episode. And I noticed someone point out that this season’s theme was women, which makes sense after looking back but whether you notice this or not isn’t really detrimental or anything, pretty cool tho. Looking forward to the next season, gotta keep the spooks rolling lol. |
