| It wasn't really strange for Sagara to say "It's peaceful and there's no war". He's just using it in a different context from what most people here have. Come on, don't be so technical, you can understand what he means. His context could be closer to "the world is no longer in a state of war" or "Japan has become a splendid nation with civil rights", etc. It doesn't really mean "no war" = "no crime", "no rebellion", "no conflict", etc. but many problems are now solvable through peaceful means. There's also nothing wrong when he mentioned Nobuna when he told about the people who brought the world to peace. He's not saying it's thanks to Nobuna or that Nobuna was a contributor. He was making a point that the peace he was experiencing from his world wasn't just some blessing easily handed by God but rather it was mostly thanks to the people who worked hard for that goal. Then he simply mentioned Nobuna as an example of people who tries hard to make a difference. Nobuna might not have contributed to the peace we are experiencing now but she is still the initiator of Japan's unification, the two other unifiers simply succeeded her. We don't know, if Nobuna didn't try to unify Japan, then Japan might've been conquered by another country and Japan might not be the way it is right now. They did really great in making up a story for Mitsuhide's rebellion, since it's not specifically known why she betrayed Nobuna in history. And that it was due to Takoyaki was hilarious, I'm wanting to eat Takoyaki sometime. Sagara will probably do something to make her open up to him. More Mitsuhide character development next episode.:) |
