I was more just saying how in general quality, not just how good the adaptation is, the visual novel isn't even comparable so if you loved the anime you are sure to love the visual novel even more. Besides, if you want to know how the story ends, the anime was left only half complete and the second half is where Umineko primarily gets all its praise from

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but oh my.... a 10 on the Umineko anime? If you thought the anime was a 10, the visual novel will change your life.

Hey, I saw your review for Umineko. I just finished Higurashi but I'm hesitating to watch Umineko. I believe it to be a good if not great anime BUT if the VN is better I'd rather read it. Do you have any advice for me? Also, are the both series related at all?

oops, your right, that was a major spoiler =S. Im glad you liked my review lol, now that i read it, it might have been a little exaggerated, but at the time, I really found 'cage of eden' to be really amazing

The Visual Novel really fleshes out what the anime attempted to do. If you liked the anime, I recommend you download it somewhere (it's pretty hard to actually acquire an english copy without paying around 40 dollars for shipping). The english patch for it is free and can be found here.

Hey, I'm not angry or whatever, but you probably noticed that there are 2 kinds of people: *HATE UMINEKO* and *<3 UMINEKO*.
There are really few people who think it's mediocre. You have your opinion and I have mine.
Oh, and just one thing: even if you think story is fabulous, art is a trollfest itself and music... well Chiaki Kon failed here.
Try to remember this episode when
