| In Norway, it's usually Ghost in the Shell, Pokémon, Moomin or Spirited Away. The others in the poll never aired, except Dragonball Z which nobody liked so they took it off the air after just a few episodes. Digimon had the same fate. |

| I haven't met a person who doesn't know what Pokemon is. Unlike all these shows, Pokemon also have a strong following in the video game department. People who don't care much for the show still love the games. Digimon is also more famous in my country than most of these shows. |

| Most people who aren't into anime that I've spoken to think that all anime are shows about sexualized little girls or shows that are all about big tits or stuff about girls getting raped by tentacles or of course a combination of the 3. Though most people of my age do know Dragon Ball and Pokemon. They just don't think of those when they hear the word anime. |
