'Tokyo 24-ku' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, First Promo

The official website of the Tokyo 24-ku (Tokyo 24th Ward) original television anime revealed additional cast, staff, the opening theme song, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video on Wednesday.

The first episode will premiere as a one-hour special on January 6 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11, followed by ABC TV and Me-Tele. Second episode onwards, the anime will air at 12:30 a.m.

Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) us directing the anime at CloverWorks. Vio Shimokura (Tokyo Necro visual novel scenario) is handling the series composition and script. Takahiro Kishida (Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica) is designing the characters and Hideyuki Fukasawa (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) is composing the music.

I thought these childhood friends would be in their teens but after watching this trailer they actually look like they're some police officers in their mid/late twenties.

It looks good. And obviously the OP sounds amazing.

I don't trust anime with Tokyo in their title, but the trailer looks cool AND it's Cloverworks. I'll check it out.

The art style is a bit different than what I was expecting but I still thinks its alright nonetheless

PV didn't do anything to wow me either, but I'm still intrigued by this and will check it out
