'Sayounara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei' Reveals Additional Pair of Cast, First Promo for Fall 2024
The official website of the television anime adapting Hiroaki Nagashima's Sayounara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei (Good Bye, Dragon Life.) light novel revealed two additional cast members, a second promo, and key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The television anime is scheduled to air on TBS in October 2024.Ayaka Ohashi (Akame ga Kill!) and Akane Matsunaga (Aikatsu Friends!) are joining the cast as Christina and Airi, respectively.
Kenichi Nishida (Niehime to Kemono no Ou episode director) is helming the anime at SynergySP and Vega Entertainment. Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Diamond wa Kudakenai director) is handling the series composition and Nozomi Kawashige (Deatte 5-byou de Battle sub-character design) is designing the characters.
Tatsuhiko Saiki (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta...) and Hanae Nakamura (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are composing the music.
Nagashima originally launched the adventure fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2013. AlphaPolis began publishing the novel with illustrations by Kisuke Ichimaru in March 2015. The 24th volume went on sale on March 18.
Kurono began serializing a manga adaptation on the AlphaPolis web magazine in December 2015. The 12th volume was released on March 31.
AlphaPolis' Alpha Manga website serializes the manga in English. The sixth e-book volume was released in October 2023.
