Manga 'Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai' Gets TV Anime in 2026

Advertising company CyberAgent opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Shinya Misu's Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai (No More Love With the Girls.) manga on Thursday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured). The anime series, produced by Tezuka Productions, is scheduled to premiere in 2026.

Misu began serializing the romantic comedy manga on the Magazine pocket service in March 2022. Kodansha published the 14th volume on February 7, with the 15th volume planned for an April 9 release.

Synopsis
High schooler Eiyuu has a dilemma—his two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, have grown up to be almost too cute! Even though they don't seem to think much of it, he can't help but see them in a different light. If they ever realized how his feelings had changed, the embarrassment would be overwhelming! However, what Eiyuu doesn't know is that Shio and Akari might have feelings of their own.

A slow-burning love triangle where all the heroines are childhood friends—one that's as frustrating as it is irresistible!

Read the manga of this for a while but it just kept dragging on with no feeling of progression.
Maybe the anime will be a bit less of a slog, though.

Last time someone tried to break the golden rule of harem, by making childhood friend win, they had to undermine it by making every girl a sociopath and evil.
Hopefully, it won't be the case here.
