AlphaPolis' Alpha Manga website serializes the manga in English. The sixth e-book volume was released in October 2023.

Synopsis
Long ago, a human managed to defeat the oldest, most powerful dragon of them all. This dragon was so strong that even the gods feared it, but it accepted its end all alone. Then, suddenly, the dragon woke up in a new life as a guy named Dolan, living in a faraway village.

Living as a regular person now, Dolan works hard in the fields and hunts for food. Even though life in the village is simple, it's also cozy and makes him happy in ways he never felt as a dragon.

But one day, while exploring a swamp, Dolan meets Celina, a creature who's part human and part snake called a lamia. She's looking for a partner but admits she's not great at getting humans to like her because she's part snake. Despite their differences, Dolan and Cerina start to become friends. However, they face lots of challenges from outside forces.

Join them on a magical adventure as a once-mighty dragon begins a new life in a quiet corner of the world!

Modern Villainess is different from 90 percent of the copied and pasted villainess we have nowadays. It focuses more on economics, such as trying to avoid an economic collapse, not those generic ‘avoiding killed by hero’ type. Modern Villainess is the only villainess LN title that I read past volume 3. XD

Regarding Evil Lord In An Intergalactic Empire, most LN readers read it for the mech designs, there is ecchi there but that is about it. Story and characters are trash, the protagonist is literally a Kirito-clone and his harem are filled with women with oversized chest for ecchi but that is all it has. That is why I hesitate the recommend this sci-fi isekai to other people. :/

I understand your frustrations. As a LN reader, I am already tired of the nobility/royalty tropes in most medieval fantasy LN. I think fantasy genre makes up like 20-30 percent of the LNs I am reading nowadays. XD

Oh yeah, there is a new WN known as ‘Reborn As A Google Spreadsheet’, heard about it from other LN readers. XD

@EcchiGodMamster

Then I suggest you read Reborn as Space Merchant... There's that too look forward to

Well at least it's the dragon getting reincarnated and not a human so I guess that's something

Th Villainess isekai never interest me as they're too shoujo for me, so it's usually a girl and a bunch of dudes, which ain't for me lol

Well if there's ecchi I'll at least try it if it'd adapted

But god damn, half of anime seem to be medieval/middle ages or late 1800s/early 1900s Europe

@EcchiGodMamster

I think you can pick up Modern Villainess to brighten your mood, that isekai is set in alternate modern timeline~

Still considering if I should recommend you Evil Lord In An Intergalactic Empire, great mech designs but story and characters are as garbage as most power fantasy titles, and a lot of ecchi in that LN~

It's not much but being an actual fantasy instead of isekai or basically jrpg already puts it above 90% of seasonal titles. Looks rather cheaply made but I'll take it. It's hard to find anything to watch in this sludge of over hyped mediocrity and Hollywood level garbage.

@missslauraa

i am as tired of commenting about medieval fantasy LN/manga settings as they are of adapting them

as if there aren't 249584230423875904237 other cultures and time periods that could be explored

Mar 15, 3:12 AM by EcchiGodMamster

@EcchiGodMamster don't you get tired of commenting the same exact thing under every adaptation? isnt it boring?

Mar 15, 1:13 AM by missslauraa

Reading the manga adaption, not stellar but is ok, is a fantasy adventure, also i like monster girls so is guaranteed i will follow it. :D
