'Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!' Unveils Additional Cast, Second Promo

The official website of the Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! (Too Many Losing Heroines!) television anime revealed additional cast, opening theme, the second promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Sunday. The television anime is set to premiere on July 14 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11, followed by Chuukyou TV and Yomiuri TV.

An advanced screening event for the first two episodes will be held at United Cinemas Toyohashi 18 and United Cinemas Toyosu on June 30.

Kajuu Nukumizu: Minami Tanaka (Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu!)
Koto Tsukinoki: Atsumi Tanezaki (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai)
Shintarou Tamaki: Yuusuke Kobayashi (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)

Botchi Boromaru, featuring Mossa (Necry Talkie), is performing the opening theme "Tsuyogaru Girl," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Shoutarou Kitamura (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic episode director) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures. Masahiro Yokotani (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai) is handling the series composition and Tetsuya Kawakami (A-1 Pictures) (86) is designing the characters. Kana Utatane (Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Takibi Amamori's romantic comedy light novel, which was originally submitted for the 15th Shogakukan Light Novel Awards as Ore wa Hyottoshite, Saishuuwa de Make Heroine no Yokoni Iru Pottode no Mob Chara nano Darou ka and won the Gagaga Award. Shogakukan began publishing the novel under its Gagaga Bunko imprint in July 2021, featuring illustrations by Muru Imigi (Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!). The sixth volume shipped on December 23 last year.

Itachi (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) began drawing a manga adaptation on the MangaONE platform in April 2022. Shogakukan shipped the second volume last August, and the third volume is scheduled to be released on July 18.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga adaptation in English on February 14. The first volume of both is scheduled to go on sale this August.
