What would you rate the game? Like 6-7/10?
Since I already bought it, I'll play it... eventually. I blame my ADHD since it became pretty hard to read/play VNs even if I am interested in the story. It's easier when there are interactive segments like in Ai Somnium, but it's mostly text, I struggle a lot. Mostly play Balatro and Hades nowadays haha (great games tho)

I had to read entire comment section to even understand wtf happened in the final scene between Lu Guang, Vein and hot mom. Maybe I am dumb but it should have been shown a little bit better. Too many questions...
Xiao Liu is a cardboard of a character so far, he has nothing going on except for being "mysterious", oh wow. Getting big Sherlock BBC vibes with yaoi baits and overall mood where the mystery goes above quality writing. It all depends if there is going to be payoff or not, if the explanation is satisfying enough, I am gonna riot if they'll wrap things up in the end of the final episode like they did here. Also, I wasn't big on s2 neither, they dragged that shit for so long and I can't say the arc was that interesting. Here... they have a chance to cook up something pretty solid.

Link Click is conflicting, episode 1 is everything I miss about the show, not only it was fun to watch but also gave some motivational kick if people need it, haha. Everything afterwards is a mess and felt like fanservice show for fujoshis. Just cute hot boys doing cute things like modeling. I am looking forward to s3 (it's going to have 24 eps and hopefully will answer to all the questions we have), but so far it's just one big teaser of what's yet to come. Absolutely hate the info dump of the last episode, maybe they should gave more info in episodes 2-5 instead of speedrunning things in the last minutes XDD

i remember that moment omfg jessica deadass singing a whole touhou song was wild. i'm so glad i was already familiar with the touhou franchise beforehand so the magic of that moment wasn't lost on me.
also did you know ryukishi and zun once took part in a joint interview. i'd suggest giving it a read if you haven't, it's super interesting and provides alot of insight abt the various intricacies of doujin game design from two pioneers of the industry

while the ps3 artwork for higurashi/umineko is definitely the optimal way to experience both titles, idk there's just something abt ryukishi's og sprites that just appeals to me on some innate base level. they have this sort of weird charm that i can't put into words. i think "ugly-cute" is the best way to describe it. also a little pet theory i have is that ryukishi's skills as a writer was so goated that the powers that be took away his art skills as a means to to nerf him.

i have listened to some of the doujin music circles' stuff actually! huge fan of nearly anything a-one and sound-holic have put out, eurobeat is my absolute jam so i fuck with their work heavy
omg it's genuinely so funny that half the fanbase haven't even touched the games lmfaoo. reminds me of the idolmaster franchise where most ppl are really only in it for the doujin material.
