I really hope this isekai adaption does well and at least try clearing some overall hate the genre gets since it has potential to do so
It's directed by the guy who apparently botched Kuma Bear, made by the same studio which did Hatena Illusion (the quality became honestly unwatchable in the second half) and series composition is handled by the guy who worked on Kenja no Mago...

I've got no idea how is the light novel, but this adaptation is going to be probably terrible.

hopefully they were given a better schedule since hatena iiusion was rushed production-wise.

If that's really gracefeel, I've lost all the little hope I had for this adaptation.

You know, it is a common thing both in Japan and in Slavic-speaking countries when even books which do not require isekai/time-travel element are made such just because it is popular with general audience.

It's always annoying when a VA you like is added to a project you're not interested in at all. Shame.

Wait this is isekai ?

That's exactly the reaction I had when this was first announced. The original synopsis made absolutely no mention of it being an Isekai, which just makes it being an Isekai seem incredibly extraneous.

Well, if I were you I wouldn't get my hopes too high. I mean, the cover nor the PV don't look too bad, but it's possible they just picked the best looking scenes and the rest is going to be pretty much unwatchable. But who knows

Well i will keep my expectations in check from now one for this tho i hope it really do shines

William is the lone human in a city of the dead. Born with vague memories of a past life in contemporary Japan where he failed to do anything useful, he is determined not to make the same mistake again, and that this time, his life will be lived. But what does that really mean? Raised by a group of the undead, William must discover what circumstances brought him to this city and these people as well as what it means to not just exist, but to live a full life.
