Especially given in this COVID season, definitely unprecedented that shows now will have a dip in quality, and like you say, it's up to the talents of the production artists, animators and such to make up for it.

The problem with animation is dependent on the anime industry and the various contacts, so like you said, something like "beginner's Stockholm" if i can phrase it well.

Remember, it still all goes back to the production crew because basically everything has been set in stone, and there's nothing else to judge but what we have through the many shows.

Hope this clarifies your reply.

Say you go to a buffet, there are 100 dishes but you can only pick 5 and out of those 5, you can only eat 1 tiny spoon of. You're going to leave with an expression of "I'm still hungry and THAT'S THE WORST BUFFET I'VE EVER BEEN AT AND I'VE BEEN TO THE OTHER BUFFETS!"

I watched the BD version. In the first few episodes, there's a bit of gun action and when they show the corpses, there's a lot of blood but no gun holes if you know what I mean.

It's a sequel that shouldn't have happened if that's how they were going to make it.

And that show is...?

OK, this one's a bit confusing.

They only adapted the LN to a certain degree that feels like it came from the LN, then added some fillers and the such. Those arcs are: Epiosdes 1-4 with the start of Orphen, and the Uoar Class arc in the last few episodes.

While this reboot sticks more closer to the LN IMO, the way that the 1998 version did was better. Both versions have fillers, but the 98' version made it look like it was canon to the filler, whereas the reboot didn't feel like anything and it was all just for show.

1998 version: Loosely adapted from the LN, fillers actually kept in line with the main series
2020 version: Straight adaptation from the LN, fillers are non-canon with the LN (they squished the arcs content to be as short as possible)

Hope this answers your question.

Yeah, no wonder. I read up on the manga after Season 1 finished, but it's been so long that I even forgot how it continues lol

JC Staff wasn't forced to pick up OPM, they could've just said no. They had multiple different shows coming out that season so their schedule was already very tight to begin with, but they picked it up anyway. Why? I have no fucking idea, probably because they knew how popular it was and how much money they could make from it, is my guess.

Also, work on your sentence structure dude, it's really hard to read and understand what you're saying

The BD version still doesn't fix the bad pacing, the bad stills, the weird sound effects and mixing of the music, the horrible cgi metal on genos and sonic and overall just the lack of any passion or love put into this season.
SaggyFatface Jan 30, 8:58 AM
Wtf you haven't even watched season 1 or 2 so how can you even criticize my review to begin with?
SaggyFatface Jan 30, 8:53 AM
It's just my honest opinion bro, I don't know what else to say. Season 2 is just bad compared to season 1. It's very sad but it's the truth

I found MHA 2 to be entertaining. DanMachi 2 just had too many negatives and it deviated too much from what made it good in the first season for me.

Of course, we all have our own opinions and I can see fans liking it.

........... Did you noticed the date when I made the complainant about that anime?

My complainant are not only how rushed the anime was, but also the fact the production committee never once care about this franchise and keep butchering the series for OVER 10 YEARS without giving any chances. Negima!/UQ Holder! franchise are suffering much WORSE fate than OPM has ever got in terms of adaptation, at least the first season of OPM was decent and the second season are simply rushed. Unlike Negima!/UQ Holder! where if it's not rushed, then it will be changing the story or having endless fillers. Hell, the only accurate adaptation of that franchise we had ever got was the OVAs and that's it.

Thanks! An encouragement a day keeps the reviews coming in good quality :)
