Speaking of Fantasy titles this year. If you are planning on watching "The Dawn of the Witch", You should probably watch "Grimoire of Zero" 1st since it's part of the same franchise and will allow you to have a better understanding of the lore that takes place in it's universe.

Hey I been ok. This entire year looks extremely promising for Fantasy titles. I already started watching a few but not really been very consistent. I dropped a few titles recently too but I might get back into them at some point in time. I tend to want to watch stuff that I am mostly in the mood for at the time. Ironically I actually finished watching "Queen's Blade: Rebellion" recently and I have owned that on DVD since 2014 and just never had the chance to get around to watching it. It was complete garbage to watch but entertaining garbage. lol I was surprised my wife actually watched a few episodes with me too.

I believe the world could be a lot better if people were just honestly saying "I like this" or "I don't like this, it's annoying." But due to a myriad of social and psychological constraints, people are simply toxic to each other, unable to express their sincere emotions.
RobertBobert Jan 6, 2:29 AM
It reminds me of the stereotypical girly girl vs mainly man mentality where people take gender extremes and argue over tastes.
RobertBobert Jan 6, 1:43 AM
Yes. For example, all this shit with "wholesome", when CGDCT fans think some genres are shit because they are not wholesome enough (that is, not fluff and not moe all-female).
RobertBobert Jan 6, 1:03 AM
Well, these are usually just immature or too biased, confusing "these shows suit my taste" and "these shows are objectively good." For example, I once had a friend who said that most shoujo shows were supposedly bad because of "gay looking boys". The fact that these shows were simply not focused on him did not interest him. It's like saying that chocolate ice cream is bad because you like fruity ice cream better.
RobertBobert Jan 5, 10:39 PM
These people are just fanatical. For example, a dude likes female characters more and says that female MCs are better than male ones as an objective fact. They just can't imagine that it could just be a matter of taste.
RobertBobert Jan 5, 10:26 PM
I always try to assume the best. But in the end, I see the younger generation becoming arrogant purists who constantly condemn someone or fuck with their tastes.
RobertBobert Jan 5, 6:08 AM
What scares me most is that it is not some old maidens who act as such a police of morality, but the youngest generation. And regardless of gender.
RobertBobert Jan 5, 6:00 AM
At first I was surprised that people were trying to justify this, but when people joined the discussion who found the purists' arguments laughable, I felt better. I was especially impressed by the dude who, in 2022, said quite seriously that it was a shame to watch lewd content and admit it.

Its answer?
