Anime Movie 'Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai' Announces Staff and Cast Members

The official website for the previously announced Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai anime movie has announced the staff and cast members. A new teaser has also been revealed. The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on September 1.

The cast and the PV looks good. I have watched the live version of the series and it was pretty good. The anime looks a little better than the live version :D Maybe it's just me.

It's becuause manga is not the source here. The original is a LN, manga is an adaptation of that. The novel also didn't have any illustrations, so the art style and even the characters' looks are all left to imagination.

Saw the news and remembered that read not a long time ago. Decent manga for a quick read, but the first question after the PV what happened to artstyle? Really liked manga's character design and complete opposite on the change. Well not that i'm really interesting in this work, just passing by cause saw the familiar title.

I have been reading the manga and honestly I wasn't particularly excited for this as I think it's pretty crappy, but from the PV it looks like the characters are a lot more grown up and it might take things a bit more seriously. I think my main complain is how childish the manga is.

Seemed really bland to me. I don't remember the first PV feeling this bland. It even reused shots from the first PV which was only 30 seconds. I am still interested in this movie, but I am less excited now.

That's definitely well animated, but kind of meh as a PV. It did not show any beautiful shot composition, & most of them were close up shots. I am still optimistic about the director though.

Finally! My most anticipated movie is here!!!!!

The visuals are great, I really like to see how Haruki Shiga is designed here, he's not too short in height like the manga.

Just thinking that I will have to wait pretty much an exact year for the BD release kills me, the novel was amazing, I really hope the movie lives up to it.
