I mean, that Rem didn't fall for Subaru because they bonded, but because of the true character he displayed during the final loop of Arc 2 which completely turned her expectations of him upside down. Before then she viewed him at best an incompretent coward or worse a shady follower of a genocidal cult who ruined her life until the Shaman incident in Arc 2 came to an end. His heroism in saving the kids and then herself even when she thought nobody acknowledged her (inferiority complex) is what drove her feelings for him. Subaru similarity has an inferiority complex which helped strengthen his gratitude to Emilia.

That said, we should stop here as this getting off-topic.
