TV Anime 'Aho Girl' Cast Members Announced

The June 2017 issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine has announced cast members and theme song performers for Aho Girl TV anime. The series is slated for Summer 2017. The issue will officially be released on May 9.

Cast
Sayaka Sumino: Sayaka Harada (Urara Meirochou)
Akuru Akutsu: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama.)
Yoshiko Hanabatake: Aoi Yuuki (Youjo Senki)
Inu: Daisuke Namikawa (Persona 4 the Animation)
Yoshie Hanabatake: Yoko Hikasa (Frame Arms Girl)
Fuuki Iinchou: Sumire Uesaka (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!)

Opening Theme Performance: angela
Ending Theme Performance: Sumire Uesaka

The character designs lost some identity it seems from these visuals. Those were the best part about the manga, mostly the eyes seem wrong, hoping it looks better in motion. Mainly the black eyelash-like outlines around the top of the eyes are too thin and the angle is incorrect.

Sounds like nitpicking for non-readers, I'm sure. But the facial expressions literally carry this manga.

I wouldn't call it a romance series. There are two girls who like the MC, but since he's aromantic it's more of a comedy than a romance. I liked it, but if you're not into gag humour then you probably won't.

Despite having a resume as long as winter, can't remember Aoi Yuuki at all, though she did a character in A-Channel.

Consistently funny manga, where for once the girl is the one getting the beatings, hoping it can deliver in anime form.

Hmm.... The studio is acctually bad... but good thing is the voice actors!! I am watching this! because I have a feeling that this will actually turn out to be great!

it's pure comedy... and only that.. there is little fanservice about romance and harem, but that's it... dog is best waifu anyways...

Solid cast, pretty nice selection and seeing Sugita in this is pretty good :3 and same with Aoi Yuuki.

From what I got from this its more so comedy than romance. At least from few people that have read it. I still don't get the dislike for the studio because Fuuka was just shit in the first place so but that's just me. Can kinda see why people would have a grudge on it at the same time tho so idk.

Didn't know this series is from the same author who did Mangaka san to Assistant san.

I really enjoyed that one so might watch this one as well.
