Staff and Fall 2016 Broadcast Announced for 'Tiger Mask W'

Toei Animation has updated the official website for the upcoming Tiger Mask W anime project. It reveals staff members, a new key visual (pictured), and a PV. The anime is planned to broadcast in Fall 2016 on TV Asahi.

The director Toshiaki Komura also directed Ultimate Muscle (Kinnikuman II). I have faith that this will do well... I kinda want to watch the original series first though >_>

This is not a remake, but a continuation. Though something like Jojo.
And this is not the first time is happening to this series, but the second! It already got a continuation in the 80s.

Tiger Mask was one of the anime i watched during my childhood.

I just hope Toei won't fuck up this one like Sailor Moon.

Legit question: is there a way to watch the prequels? This is more likely just a reboot of sorts so I don't have to track down the original shows, so while I may plan on watching this, I'd like to be able to watch the others if I come to like it enough.

While I don't have high expectations for the production quality, this is something I personally look forward to with wrestling being adapted into anime medium.

Toei did the original series why wouldn't they do this. People who are surprised by this are pleb to the max. Anyways the story is what doesn't interest me not the studio.
