TV Anime Adaptation of 'Fairy Tail Zerø' Announced for Winter 2016

The wraparound jacket of the compiled manga volume of Fairy Tail Zerø, which will be released on Tuesday, announced that its story will be adapted as a new chapter of the currently airing Fairy Tail anime. According to the official website, the new chapter begins airing in January 2016.

Fairy Tail Zerø details the meeting of the founders of the Fairy Tail guild and what happened between them that led to its founding. Its 13 chapters were serialized in the monthly Fairy Tail Magazine, which was published over a one-year period between July 2014 and July 2015.

So Zero is inside the Fairy tail, that's why we don't have a page for it...odd for me that started Zero without seeing the original one...

As much as I hate on Fairy Tail (still up to date with it tho cuz I'm a masochist), I'm quite interested to see how Zero turns out to be.

Since I used to like Fairy Tail a few years back, I'll give it a go (in the hopes that it's better)...it really makes me sad to see what a mess Fairy Tail is now. It totally lost its steam after the Oracion Seis arc imo, until it got to the point where I was completely forcing myself to watch it...so I ended up dropping it in the middle of the Tartaros arc :/

Surprised this is getting an adaptation, did it sell well? I read most of it, it wasn't half bad compared to the main story.

Zero story was as good as Tartaros(the highpoint of FT).

I wonder on if they will incorporate Ice Trail(as much as I dislike that gary stu Gray) and Fairy Girls stories too after this ? Would make sense to fill time with canon material.
