'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin' 2nd OVA to be Released in October

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin's official website has announced that the second of four OVA episodes will be released on October 31. Additional cast members were also announced and a new key visual was released (pictured right).

The OVAs are based on the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. It was serialized by mecha magazine Gundam Ace from June 2001 to June 2014, and compiled into twenty-four volumes.

Yoshiyuki Tomino created the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV anime, which aired in April 1979 and completed at 43 episodes. Since then, the franchise has received several sequels and spin-offs, in various timelines and alternate worlds.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin's first episode volume ranked second in anime Blu-ray sales for the first half of 2015, selling 61,253 copies.

Ive seen all of 0079 but not all the manga, its close from what I've seen. Tomino is a better writer though, I wish he would have collaborated with him. I also didn't like his descision to make Ramba Ral younger. He was a cool old dude.

??? The OVA adapts a flashback arc in Origins that is not in 0079.

I've been reading The Origins. I hope they keep it close to the source. I haven't seen all the 0079, but from what I have seen it was close to the manga. How will the OVAs be different?
