Korean MMORPG 'Blade and Soul' to Receive TV Anime Adaptation Airing Spring 2014 [Update 2/7]

It was announced that the Korean MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) Blade and Soul will receive a TV anime adaptation. It will air Spring 2014 and will be produced by Gonzo.

The Blade and Soul game is a Korean fantasy/martial-arts MMORPG released in June 2012. An English version of the game was announced in September 2012, but no release date has yet to be revealed.

Whoops, Gonzo, I guess I added this titles to my list by accident. It has been almost 4 years since they did anything possible to watch, so I highly doubt BS will be any different to crap they are making recently.

Tower of God! And maybe "The Gamer" in few years but still is limited to MMORPG right now.Lets see how this will be first.

The game looks superb. I've been waiting for a while for the English version to come out. But there's no news update or anything on the site. I guess I'll play PSO2 first when it comes out on SEA.

The director Hamasaki Hiroshi is one amazing mofo, and it's quite different from everything he worked on so far. I don't know what to expect since it's also Gonzo and an MMO adaptation, let alone a video game one which tend to suck badly.

Please, sleeping master, make miracles with this adaptation like you always do.

Been waiting for an English version of this game for some time now, at least it's in the works now. Well this could be interesting if it's done right, will definitely give the anime a watch when it airs.

Anyone know if Pohwaran will be appearing in the anime or will she be a no show. I would love to play the game but sadly it not in english and I always loved her artwork that I have seen. Plus can't go wrong with two different color for your hair.

dont care about the mmo anymore... how long NCSoft working on the translation etc ? 1.5 yrs?! When the game comes out noone cares anymore about a 3 years old mmo...

when they can play TESO and EQN or other good mmo's...

but the aime sounds nice...

I thought they would make an english version right away. MMO's should be accessible to the entire world if they have been worked on as much as this MMO.

Steins;Gate director eh? And the script guy from Samurai 7? Hmmmm...this could be interesting. Might be nice to see more information before making any serious judgment about it.
