Monkey Punch's New TV Anime 'Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman' Announced

According to TV Tokyo, a new TV anime "Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman" was announced to be aired from January 7, 2013. It is based on the Pachinko casino game "CR Genroku Gijinden Roman".

Synopsis:
The story takes place in Kyoto in the late 19th century. Manjiro has two faces. During the day, he works as a helper for people in Kyoto, but he also acts in secret to get back people's properties from the men in power. As the get-backer "Roman", Manjiro is getting involved in a nationwide conspiracy.

LOL guys this is based on a pachinko game, not about a pachinko game.

Well after what Kaiji managed to make pachinko into, I am excited for this. Gambling animes/manga always gets me excited as long as they're trying to be logic and cool and not fanservice shit
