I'm in Shock, Im@s now has a clusterfuck of US licenses, Funi has the spinoff to the true Idolmaster, CR has the actual main series, and Sentai has Xenoglossia.

It saves about an hour, at least. Normally the fansubs come out about 10 PM EST and this'll be 9 PM EST.

Talking about surprise announcements

"The site will stream the series, starting with episode 14, on January 12 at 9:00 p.m. EST. The first 13 episode will be available on the site at a later date."

So.. its just going to start in the middle of the series? Totally neglecting everything that had happened until "a later date"?

Wow talk about unexpected.

Hope they are a bit faster with the earlier episodes than they were with dog days season 1, although this time I've already seen most of the episodes. The question is should I watch episodes 10-13 on fansub or wait for CR to bring them out?

I watched the other Idol show they started simulcasting yesterday ... that one was ok-ish, not sure if Ill give another a try. Not really my cup-o-tea.

Thats cool that they got AKB0048 Next Stage, but its kinda pointless to newcomers since its a direct continuation of the first season (its even considered Episode 14 by the official website), so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with Crunchy unless they see the first season too which isn't licensed.

If Crunchyroll gets Puchimas, Crunchyroll will be completely be in Idoltown this winter. I am hoping that they also will stream the first season so I can watch the whole thing.
Impossible, nothing in the true Idolm@ster series have been licensed yet.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/the-idol-master

CR streamed Imas already.

Well damn, they can get it then, maybe I was probably thinking of home release, never heard of it being released on DVD, but Sentai would have the rights to do so if they could.

Impossible, nothing in the true Idolm@ster series have been licensed yet. If it's a short they'll be getting the mostly unknown Haitai Nanafa, remember it only aired in Okinawa in the Fall and only got a mainland Japanese airing once AT-X picked it up, hopefully they keep to the 2 eps per week model AT-X is doing.
