Mm, thanks and sorry for the delayed response. I’m super bad at responding to MAL comments and usually i refer peoples to discord to char further lol. And that’s neat, I’ve become a bit more outdoorsy myself, and i truly appreciate taking walks outside now. I still don’t know about camping and all that but gardening sounds super relaxing. Are you doing flowers or veggies or both?

Ouch! I’m glad you were able to recover from that! That sounds painful. 2 years ago i had a graded 2 fracture in my ankle and i had to wear a brace and go to physical therapy for months so I understand.

Aww thanks! Sometimes when I visit MAL I'm reminded of you and our great talks about anime. It makes me smile. And I'm glad your team made it to the finals and I hope that they go all the way!

And I'm doing alright. I've been working from home for over a year now and just watching my anime and playing games, (I managed to get a PS5). Exercising and doing other outdoor activities too. I got vaccinated and I survived getting sick so all things considered I'm very grateful.

Well, it's seems like a century since I responded to your coment, old chap. How all is going well. Things have changed again for me but you know how that goes lol.

Ah then we’re in different timezones! It’s now late at night on the second in under your bed. (I guess I should update my location, as I can’t possibly be under everyone’s bed…) Actually based on what you’ve just told me I think you’re the actually farthest away from me time-zone wise as you could possibly be.

That sounds like a good type of busy! And perhaps a little serious as well but that’s how life goes eh? House renovations are a pretty big deal…would be nice if homes just magically transformed themselves and repaired themselves. Congrats to your cousin! I still feel really young, but since I got to uni I’ve noticed people around my age talking about marriage and/or getting engaged and it’s really surreal.

Well, I must thank you for being my first friend on here :) and a wonderful discussion partner to boot. I think I’ve only started maybe …3-5 threads though? This was probably the most interesting one for me to keep up with, though it turned out pretty much exactly how I expected. Oh and also if you’d happen to have an answer to this I’d be interested.

As to what brought that question about…well it was a long and convoluted train of thought but had something to do with various topics regarding generational gaps (How is our generation going to look to our kids/grandkids? Will growing up in an age of rapid innovation in technology help at all, or will pop culture and the world in general just be so different that it’ll be hard to relate to future generations anyway?) and some cultural tensions that I’ve noticed in the older generations of my friend’s family (and mine, to a lesser extent.) As you can see there are only vague ties to the resulting question haha.

Hmm offline…well, honestly it’s been one of the toughest periods of my life. (Though, my life isn’t really that hard, as I’ve never been forced to go without a meal…) A ton of things happened that I don’t mind divulging to you (well, preferably via PM or something) but would make this into a rambling post of epic proportions.
