Your gender-gender of favorite characters
| EX: Are you Male and tend to like mostly Female characters, Female and like mostly Female characters, Female and like Male and Female characters about evenly, etc. (Sorry for not including every possible option in the poll, feel free to comment below :) ) EDIT: Someone asked about the format of the poll answers: Poll title is "Your gender-gender of favorite characters", so answers are formatted that way (Your gender goes before the dash). | Male characters tend to be cooler in general. There is no way someone can be THAT superficial in order to have a favorite character just because he/she is sexy. |

| 8/10 are male. 6/10 are main protagonists, and all male. The other 4/10 are two male supporting characters and two female supporting characters. I'll chalk it up to me watching more shows with male protagonists. |

| About Even Misaki and Satou are both are relatable in a couple of ways Madotsuki just appeals to me a lot and I love the game Hideyoshi because he's Hideyoshi Len because he's a qt Nitori because again relatable |

| Male-about even It's a 5-5 split on my favorite characters list, was a bit surprised that it was perfectly even. It's hard to say about the average anime character since the average anime character is pretty bad regardless of gender. |

| I'm a guy and I love female characters. 8/10 of my top 10 favorites are female and if i had an extended favorites list, the ratio would probably be about the same. There aren't that many truly epic male MC's IMO. I like for male characters to be really strong mentally and cool but half of the time that isn't the case. Plus I love tsundere characters and most of those are female so yea ^.^ |

| Although in my top 10 there are more female than male characters (6:4), when I look at the rest of my favourite characters, it's an even split. I don't really consider gender before deciding how much I like a character. I'm female. |

| I think if I rated all the female characters I've seen they would have a higher average than all the male characters, but the upper echelons of favourite characters would be likely to have more males. I base this on the fact that I can think of a never ending list of male characters that shit me to fucking tears more than any female character I've ever seen. |

| Male - mostly male, used to have Balalaika on there if that counts. I favorite people I identify with or admire, and female characters usually don't resonate with me. They aren't often well written and honestly, I don't relate to them as well. But that's not to say I never like them... there are harem charts for this reason. |
