Second Season of Tamayura Due in July 2013

According to the official Twitter account, the second season of Tamayura was announced to be aired in the summer of 2013.

Apparently it's called "Tamayura ~futose~".
So database mods, maybe you should change the title to that instead of Tamayura Second season?

Great news! To bad this show is so underrated on this page because it is a really great and relaxing anime series. Just hope for a second season of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée to then. (^_^)

Oh yeah, Aria's sibling finally gets to see a second season. I wish there were tonnes of series like this. Oh well, i guess yama no susume (http://myanimelist.net/anime/14355/Yama_no_Susume) might end up in the same alley. (i hope so at least ^^) These healing animes really changes something on the inside.

Some of the specials on the TV S1 BD show a bit of the town with the seiyuu and the director, seems nice.

Sort of but not really. Tamayura has more in common with shows like Aria (same director after all) in that you could consider it a 'healing' anime. In Potte's case its about her dealing with the loss of her father by returning to her home-town and using his old camera.

I even went to Takehara, the place where the anime is supposed to take place, because of Tamayura. It is a small but beautiful neighborhood filled with classy historic buildings. The city is proud of having this anime as the face of Takehara. The city government also keeps a few page for Tamayura in its home page http://www.city.takehara.lg.jp/sangyou/kankou/kankou/tamayuramenu.html
