| Since anime are japanese, it's quite rare to see characters with beards or mustaches, and even rarer to see a full grown beard That's why I liked Vinland Saga, a lot of eye candy in this anime (and especially Bjorn's beard since it's similar to mine, except I have a full one) |

The fact that Vegeta doesn't have one as default, especially at his age and living with Bulma, a woman who literally made Yamucha cut his hair to keep up with (at the time) modern trends, is a little disappointing. And yes, Tite Kubo draws some of the coolest beards in anime and manga. |

 Vice Admiral Ulanhu in the LotGH reboot. He was clean shaven in the original; new version was a nice surprise :) Props to the new character designer (Iwao Teraoka?) who gave some love to even relatively obscure characters. Quite a few other characters got facial hair added as well: Gregor von Muckenburger, Fleet Commander Sitolay, Dwight Greenhill, Rear Adm. Nguyen Van Huu & probably more. |
