| I've got to say that i really like shows like Keijo!!!!!, Fate/Kaleid Linner Prisma Illya and the likes because of the girl love aka Yuri in it. So besides popular names like Citrus and Bloom into you, which anime (or manga) do you think has great yuri story or great expression/action of yuri. (not asking a recommendation, just for discussion) edit2: i see that it is a confusing what i've typed here. What i meant is, which yuri anime do you think has great yuri and why. For example, I really like Kaleid Linner Prisma because its Illya and the implicit intimaticy she wants to achieve with her desires, even unkown to herself, for Miyu is simply "kimochi". so dont go listing anime with yuri, cus i can literally look that up in MAL. edit most things listed here are already on my plan to watch/read :) seen: read: |

| I totally second the recommendation, it's one of the best CGDCT comedy franchises out there. A minor nitpick: Yuru Yuri isn't yuri baiting, it was published in the manga magazine Comic Yuri Hime. They self-identifiy as a publication for lesbians, thus this isn't mere baiting but the real homosexual thing. |

| Wait, is this about the best yuri bait or the best yuri text? If it's the former, as others said, Hibike! Euphonium season 1 was the one that baited me the hardest in my naive early days of anime, but I don't know if it's the best at it, just the more memorable one. To be fair, some of its scenes had more romantic tension than a lot of the 'yuri' yuri out there, I wouldn't say it's a merit of the show, but rather a demerit of the others. Wataten is also a good, fluffy comedy I enjoyed, but people don't like the lolicon aspect of it, so maybe proceed with caution? (Another show that has yuri lolicon subject matter, but is a psychological thriller is Happy Sugar Life, if that's your thing. It was torture porn, but I liked it.) I can think of a lot of shows that tread the line between bait and text, maybe that's what you want? Some of it might be a matter of my interpretation and might be spoilery, so I'll skip it. I'm just going to leave a rough gem that's underwatched in my opinion: Revue Starlight. I mean, what's not to like in an Utena-inspired theater-based drama? If it's the latter, oof, aside from the most famous ones, which is the best? Usually the ones that get anime adaptions already are the most popular ones. Kannazuki no Miko is an infamous 'modern' classic (not completely without reason, it's both p r o b l e m a t i c and rough around the edges), so it isn't as spoken of as some of the others, like Strawberry Panic (still not as p r o b l e m a t i c as Kannazuki, despite its melodrama), Aoi Hana and Utena. Asagao to Kase-san also has somewhat of a following, but I didn't like the OVA a whole lot. This is actually hard if we exclude the most popular ones, now that I think about it. If it's regarding manga, there are a couple of less known ones on my list, but, since this is the anime discussion board, I won't get into it. |
